Missouri House has just voted to redistrict from 6-2 GOP TO 7-1 GOP.
Meanwhile Ohio, Florida, Indiana are getting ready to redistrict ending up r giving Republicans a near guaranteed majority in the House in 2026 even after a Newsom redistrict in California.
And that's even before Louisiana and Kansas who are also considering redistricting.
Louisiana would depend on SCOTUS revoking the VRA Act.
Plus Democrats have already redistricted over years with 7 deep blue states having 0 Republican seats in the House in DC.

Unfortunately I would not be so sure. We are in risk of losing once reliable R seats in NE PA, central PA, northern NY state, central & nw VA, MI, northern NJ and several other areas that have significant populations of Federal workers. Roughly 38% of Federal workers typically vote Republican and while they might not vote Democrat in 2026, many of them will simply not vote at all next cycle. While it is popular to bash them all as “liberals”, reality is quite different especially in the National Security elements. 100% RTO, RIFs and a general demonization of them is not going to get them to turn out for the GOP come election time and they and their families make up significant portions of the electorate in some key Congressional districts.
