Minutes before we went on air, Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot on stage in Utah. A quarter-hour after the show ended, President Trump announced on Truth Social that Charlie was dead. As I write, a second suspect has been taken into custody.
UPDATE: Like the first suspect, he has been released. So, as of now, the killer remains at large.

There was already a "Charlie Kirk Lecture Series" - or, more accurately, a Charlie Kirk Debate Series. That's what Charlie Kirk did. He would go anywhere and debate anyone. And they killed him for it. As I have said since my own free-speech travails began almost two decades ago:

Universities are full of left wing bastards. They’ve been fighting to take over the universities since I was in college decades ago.
As I've posted here many times, there is a violence in black culture that needs to stop. This woman openly states it's their right to be violent. Really? Under what warped sense of reason is that right? This belief is a black problem that needs a black solution. As long as you have blacks who believe this, blacks will continue to be the main source of violent crime that is 4x their representation in the population. Rather than black leaders who make a living stirring the racial pot (e.g., Al Sharpton, Joy Reid, Don Lemon), we need blacks with a reasoned voice to fill the void.

Our differences cannot be resolved. They don’t want dialogue, Kirk tried that and was branded a Nazi then killed for his efforts.
America has become a house divided that cannot stand. There will be no peace until one side or the other is vanquished.

You are right. America is a divided country. The leftists are more intransient. The right less so.
There are plenty of black people with reasoned voices and constructive things to say on the issues. But they have to be heard, and the public forum today is largely online. The gatekeepers are predominately leftist and they privilege the propaganda narrative while silencing RightWorld voices.
Big Tech and the media are the underlying problem. The left controls the megaphones.
The Right is slowly building its own information ecosystem. One of the emerging problems is policing the crackpots. On the left, in Big Media and academia, the crackpots have been mainstreamed and the lunatics are running the asylum. Those dangers exist on the Right as well, although to this point, we have done a somewhat better job of setting limits.
They mostly won that battle decades ago - longer than Charlie Kirk lived.

You forgot to mention how you’re going to go about fulfilling that “need”.
Everyone talks about the coming civil war....not too worried about that. What terrifies me is the short span of time before a civil war ignites: “The settling of scores”.
I’m not sure anyone has the answer. I’m just hoping someone steps up and tries.

When you or I have a “need” it is you or I that have to do something to fill it.
Hoping that it’ll take care of itself is just accepting it.
When we’re faced with an uncomfortable situation we have three choices - fight it, flee it, or accept it and knuckle under.
We on the right have mostly opted for the third option. Until we reach a critical mass of people that want to do one of the other options, things won’t change - in fact they’ll get worse.
I couldn’t do it if I wanted to because I’m white. There has to be a black person who can effectively communicate with the black population and suggest viable ways to solve the problem.
I would start with the repair of the black family. Almost 75% of black kids are raised in a home with no father. I would change the welfare laws to say that homes with the father present get full benefits, and homes where that is not the case get less (75%??). I think black mothers would put a lot of pressure on the fathers if thousands of dollars per year are at stake. Being a father is easy...being a parent is not. Time for the fathers to step up and play a part in parenting their children.
