AG Pam Bondi on Charlotte Stabbing: We Will Seek ‘Maximum Penalty’ for ‘Unforgivable Crime’
Breitbart ^ | 09/09/2025 | HANNAH KNUDSEN

Posted on 09/09/2025 2:48:44 PM PDT by SmokingJoe

Attorney General Pam Bondi has directed her team to federally prosecute Decarlos Brown Jr., 34 — a repeat offender with a lengthy felony rap sheet — accused of murdering 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska.

“Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream — her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people,” Bondi said in an X post on Tuesday.

“I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder,” she continued, making it clear that they are seeking the “maximum penalty for this unforgivable crime, and he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

FBI Director Kash Patel added that the attack was a “disgraceful act that should never happen in America.”

“The @FBI immediately surged into action to ensure justice is served and to make clear that violent criminals will never be allowed to walk free again,” he said.

“President Trump is committed to restoring safety to every American city, and I want to thank @AGPamBondi for delivering the federal charges that will hold this perpetrator accountable,” he added.

They’re trying to make sure he serves at least some time. Liberals in Charlotte might let him skate.

Capital punishment, and it needs to be carried out in a timely manner, not thirty years from now.

Great news. Obviously, with the racist knuckleheads running Charlotte, chances of a fair sentence are almost nonexistent. Not sure about a Charlotte jury even in federal court in a place like Charlotte, but it’s probably the only chance of nailing this animal with a meaningful sentence.

Is this a capital crime in the fed system. If so, make sure they bring a rope to the trial. If a rope is not available, tie him down to the tracks and have a slow moving train run over his neck.

Capital punishment, and it needs to be carried out in a timely manner, not thirty years from now.

And carried out publicly. Our society lost a lot when we ended the public hanging.

Great ... but ... the locals can handle that. Why isn't Pam Bondi arresting a congressman or two? A lot of money was laundered during the Biden administration. I would think her time was better spent preserving the Republic.

He’s a nutcase with a history of being a nutcase. This one is in the bag for him. He likely will get away not being competent to stand trial.

Not enough. The magistrate judge that released this rabid animal into the wild needs to be disbarred as well.

Here is a list of federal capital crimes.

https://fdprc.capdefnet.org/statutes/by-statute

This was clearly premeditated—so if they can make first degree murder stick they have what they need.

Digging a little deeper:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1111

“Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought. Every murder perpetrated by poison, lying in wait, or any other kind of willful, deliberate, malicious, and premeditated killing; or committed in the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate, any arson, escape, murder, kidnapping, treason, espionage, sabotage, aggravated sexual abuse or sexual abuse, child abuse, burglary, or robbery; or perpetrated as part of a pattern or practice of assault or torture against a child or children; or perpetrated from a premeditated design unlawfully and maliciously to effect the death of any human being other than him who is killed, is murder in the first degree.”

if it’s a train/transport system funded partially with federal funds, the feds could indeed get involved with the crime!

in a corrupt state court perhaps.
In a federal court with the full phalanx of top federal lawyers, nope.
This brutal killer is going down.

Its done!
