Trump’s midterm convention is the seismic shift that will reshape America
Fox News ^ | September 5, 2025 | Mehek Cooke

President Donald Trump has never played by the stale rules of Washington, and Americans are grateful for it. His bold call for a 2026 pre-midterm convention is a political masterstroke that will cement America First policies, energize the Republican base and ignite Generation Z voters.

This convention is a seismic shift that sends a clear message to every politician: fight for the American people or step aside.

The GOP’s victories, from retaking the White House and strengthening congressional majorities to delivering real wins on border security, tax cuts, a stronger economy and energy independence, set the stage for Trump’s call for a pre-midterm national convention that breaks political tradition.

While establishment Republicans cling to fundraising dinners, closed-door sessions and tired speeches that leave voters disengaged, Trump has mastered turning rallies into movements, from the electrifying 2016 campaign that flipped battleground states to the packed arenas of 2024 that reenergized the base. A pre-midterm convention would unite delegates from all 50 states to celebrate achievements, set a clear agenda and ignite voters.

The contrast is clear. Conservative values of law and order through Trump’s National Guard blueprint to combat crime, economic freedom that fuels innovation, and family-first policies that honor tradition stand in sharp contrast to Democrat failures, including 9.1% inflation in 2022, open borders that allowed more than 11 million illegals, and foreign policy disasters that emboldened adversaries.

A brilliant Trumpian Idea. Do not let the Republican majority slip away to the Democrats in the Mid-term. A few flubs and the people can be deluded into believing Trump is a “flash in the pan” and should be replaced by a Newson-Booker ticket and that the Congress should swing back to the Pelosi crowd. The Democrats keep hoping the people will forget how bad they were and let them regain the House and Senate in the mid-terms. As soon as they take over—the many Impeachments will start over any so called crimes or even made up ones. Trump will be unable to do anything. Obama
will rule again. This will galvanize the MAGA Movement and re-build the movement.

This will be an EPIC reminder of all of the Dems/The Party of Death and Destruction disasters, over the past decade.

And ... of all of the MAGA/Trump accomplishments and remediation for the safety and greatness of this country.

**We don’t need a convention for primaries. Only a few rallies with Trump drawing people and motivating the get out to vote. Strategic people to run and timing to motivate people is key.**
Wrongo! The rino squishes get renominated and go along for the ride. Then they’ll change after election day.

**The trick is to produce a mass event that has all the right qualities::
1) Interesting but not boring. Very difficult to produce such an event.**
Condense the speeches and excitement into 3-4 hours primetime(on tv). 3 days in Ketchikan. Spend the days fishing or hiking. Enjoy the seafood. Then sit back in the evening and instruct our ‘leaders’ to let er’ rip.

“ignite Generation Z voters.”
********************************

This guy obviously knows nothing about Gen Z. Gen Z is all over X hating on Trump for being cozy with Israel. They hate Israel and Nick Fuentes is their leader (on the right).

You're wrong.

Kamala badly fumbles Gen Z vote, which broke bigly for Trump

Ketchikan has absolutely the worst weather you can imagine, probably not the best place for such an important critical convention.

If the convention is held in summer, marginally better, but not by much.

How about holding the election in a city whose crime Trump and the Department of War has helped clean up?

Clear a statement as any that Trump & Cabinet is delivering results.

Midterm convention is another master idea.

It’s clear to me, and should be to everyone, that Trump is unrelenting.

I obviously is working 24/7. His opponents like Schumer don’t have a chance.

All of them are sleeping when he’s thinking how to beat them.

Complacency is what happens in the midterms, fueled by this nonsense, again from the media, that the ruling party loses seats.

The ruling party, if they’re working for the people, should gain seats.

WOULDN’T IT BE SOMETHING IF WE HAD A VETO PROOF MAJORITY AND IN BOTH CHAMBERS PLUS ONE MORE SCOTUS PICK?

A good QB needs 10 good people around him.

And half the time the QB isn’t even on the field. 11 Defense and 11 Special teams are on the field. And often they are the ones who win the game.

Dunno if thats true. I mean yes, there's noise from Harris supporters. Remember we're the silent majority.

Don't make the common mistake of assuming every group is homogeneous. The eastern 2/3 of CA is very conservative. The majority of upstate NY is very conservative. The southern 90% of IL is very conservative.

The majority of the youth of America has always tended to be on the Left, but nowadays it is a lot closer to 50-50 as the Left continues to get mocked constantly on social media. The half of Gen Z that voted for Pres Trump is NOT the same half of Gen Z that is screeching online.
