President Donald Trump has never played by the stale rules of Washington, and Americans are grateful for it. His bold call for a 2026 pre-midterm convention is a political masterstroke that will cement America First policies, energize the Republican base and ignite Generation Z voters.
This convention is a seismic shift that sends a clear message to every politician: fight for the American people or step aside.
The GOP’s victories, from retaking the White House and strengthening congressional majorities to delivering real wins on border security, tax cuts, a stronger economy and energy independence, set the stage for Trump’s call for a pre-midterm national convention that breaks political tradition.
While establishment Republicans cling to fundraising dinners, closed-door sessions and tired speeches that leave voters disengaged, Trump has mastered turning rallies into movements, from the electrifying 2016 campaign that flipped battleground states to the packed arenas of 2024 that reenergized the base. A pre-midterm convention would unite delegates from all 50 states to celebrate achievements, set a clear agenda and ignite voters.
The contrast is clear. Conservative values of law and order through Trump’s National Guard blueprint to combat crime, economic freedom that fuels innovation, and family-first policies that honor tradition stand in sharp contrast to Democrat failures, including 9.1% inflation in 2022, open borders that allowed more than 11 million illegals, and foreign policy disasters that emboldened adversaries.

You-- you-- you mean show we should build some backbone and actually do something other than passively watch Trump do all the work with his executive orders? Maybe I should set up my retirement and live off my past favor IOU's and bribe money with my golden parachute.
The problem with the MAGA movement is that it's all Trump.
But I think we have the next generation (Vance, Rubio, Hegseth, Gabbard, DeSantis) learning from Trump.
Where and when? 8 weeks left. Will the public be invited? It will cost money to put on.
Guess I’m wrong. It’s 8 weeks and 8 months.
I pray you are correct on that.
Make it 8 weeks and 12 months-brain fart.
next year, in a red state/city. Say june—July ish.
There is a lot of work to be done getting rid of RINO’s in the primaries first.
I say do it in a blue state/city that trended heavily towards Trump in ‘24, like NJ or IL…bring right to them on their home turf.
Re “… sends a clear message to every politician: fight for the American people or step aside…”
Or we WILL remove you.
We Want OUR COUNTRY back.
**There is a lot of work to be done getting rid of RINO’s in the primaries first.**
That would point to it being early in the primary season. It would also mean more serious challengers with big enough names stepping up soon. It’s really not the GOP style.
Venue. No red cities available. I say put it in a place where several cruise ships can dock. No local hotels to benefit. All we’d need is a big arena. Could Treasure Island in SF bay handle it? One road going in-make it ‘gated’. Let them riot in SF/Berkeley. No costs to the feds. Rub their noses in it in their FRONT yard. I’d be awesome.
Ketchikan, Alaska has 2 cruise ships docked outside right now. They can hold 5k travelers each. Summers are beautiful. Wall-to-wall salmon starting their upstream journey. Only problem is the venue. Embarrass Lisa Murkowski in her home state-she’s up in ‘28. Cruise ships to serve breakfast only while local restaurants charge $29 for fish n’ chips(I $hit u not). It’s $39 for cod.
I don’t know but the cruise ships may not be taking up the docks from Monday-Thursday. It would be the perfect slithering-in opportunity. Get in and get out. Protesters-they’d only be a few locals who don’t appreciate the money.
The problem with the MAGA movement is that it’s all Trump.
Just looked it up on AI. Ketchikan can handle 5 cruise ships.
The trick is to produce a mass event that has all the right qualities::
1) Interesting but not boring
2) Variety of opinion but within bounds so those with differing opinions stay supportive, friendly.
3) Variety of issues. Immigration is the issue for some but not all. Guns, life, health, taxes, national debt each have their constituency that gets offended if ignored.
4) But it needs focus. It can’t be everything to everybody.
Very difficult to produce such an event.

We don’t need a convention for primaries. Only a few rallies with Trump drawing people and motivating the get out to vote.
Strategic people to run and timing to motivate people is key.
