I understand that in a communist society, you have to parade all your weapons out to scare your enemies, but also you have to scare your own people so they don’t come after you and try and kill you. But the bad thing about parading all of your best stuff is the fact that we get to sit there and categorize it and count it and study it and prepare a counteraction. So honestly, they aren’t that bright. I like to think that an America, we hide our best stuff.
They can’t kill almost half of our population just by taking out a single dam so we’ve got that going for us.
Are they real, or fiberglass facsimiles?
That’s my question
Are they real
Chinese escalators are more deadly than any of their bombs
Prior to Bill Clinton they couldn’t launch a rocket. They exploded on the launch pad. They couldn’t manufacture semiconductors either.
+1
If they have the quality of other Chinese goods and buildings lately, they are probably more a danger to themselves than to us.
My question as well.
and if me Grandma had wheels, She’d be a Wagon.
not concerned about PRC
Do they work? Are the fuel tanks full of water? Can the radars actually detect something?
With a “Made in China” label. What could possibly go wrong for them?
Yawn
What do you want to bet that these “missiles” are made of chicken wire and paper mache? After all this parade was essentially “Show & Tell.”
there is that old phrase,” it will fall apart faster than a Chinese motorcycle.”
If you want to get accurate perspective on China, head on over to Google Earth and zoom into China.
Have a look at the zillions of highrise beach condos along the southern coast, right next to their big naval base at Yulin on Hainan. Have a look at the base expansion activities itself. Look carefully up where Port Arthur was back in the Russo Japanese war. Look what they are doing to that base.
And look at the ships there. That’s not a parade there on your Google Earth screen. They aren’t faking anyone.
I watched it live on CGTN via YouTube. It
was impressive. The precision and synchronization of
not only the military persons, but also the weaponry as it went down the street, or the aircraft in the skies was amazing. My daughter and I wondered if a beauty filter was used on the men and women participating. All of them had flawless skin.

The Norks pull that off as well. Never a finer bunch of Goose stepping zombies.
Combat-ready troops flunk inspection; parade ready troops flunk combat. Which army best represents the PLA?
