The U.S. Air Force will provide full military funeral honors to Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force veteran fatally shot inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, by then-Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd.
The development comes after Judicial Watch wrote to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth urging him to “make a new determination granting military funeral honors” for Babbitt, which had been denied by the Biden administration. Senior counsel Robert Sticht asked Hegseth to consider two recent updates related to the case.

Biden denied her because it would make her not guilty of sedition and would’ve exonerated all the J6 ers.

Now close the loop with a grand jury investigation into that capitol cop and potentially charge him with murder. That is the only way to end this disaster.

While on camera Michael Byrd shot and killed Ashly Babbitt without out cause. Then Byrd started yelling “shots fired shots fired” when he was the only one who fired a shot. It’s time Officer Byrd be charged for the murder of Ashli Babbitt.
My guess is she was trying to see further into the area when she was shot without a warning to back off.
She was murdered. This is the least the Air Force could do albeit better late than never.

I seem to recall reading that one of the instigators (that we know about now) was right there beside her in that hall with that group of people. I suspect that he may have ‘encouraged’ her... since she was a woman and therefore, smaller... to attempt to wriggle through the opening. Can’t prove it now, but that is what I see as most likely. And of course, all of the embedded instigators got off scott free.
