San Bernardino easily won the title for dirtiest city in both California and the U.S. for the second straight year, with the worst pollution rating and the highest number of dissatisfied residents, according to the study.
Next in line was Los Angeles, which was also joined in the top ten by Ontario (5) and Corona (10).
Topping the list of cleanest cities was South Bend, IN, with a score of 18.53, followed by Wilmington, NC and Des Moines, IA.

Any place in Los Angeles county is a no go zone.
S**t hole #2 in state s**t hole #1
All those environmental regs sure doing them good.
Super helpful having electric cars and warning stickers on furniture that might have passing exposure to something that might, sorta, kind of, in the future, if you are super unlucky cause cancer — while standing in human feces dumped by bums and third world criminals.
Southern California is so filthy when it rains hard all the rain running off is so toxic they have to shut down the beaches.
Poop Francisco didn’t make the top two?......some study that is. SMH
As a Californian - not surprised about either one.
No reason to go to either city.
I see no mention of San Fransicko, the Sidewalk Turd Capital of America ...
I have visited Corona once on a business trip visit to the below ground long distance facility. It is in an innocuous corn field with a little brick building. The facility underground is enormous.
Don’t live there. Never visited there. So, pure speculation on my part.
Excessive or burdensome regulations that make it difficult or expensive to dispose of garbage, waste, trash, old paint & chemicals, used furniture and so on, just creates massive amounts of illegal dumping and complete disregard for the law.
There is also powerful cultural aspects. I’ve traveled a great deal. Some cultures just don’t care about their potentially beautiful island or country and just it as a huge trash dump.
I would have though Bakersfield would win
A lot of places in Cali I won’t go. Los Angeles would be #1.
Not the least bit surprised.
San Bernardino is a dump as is much of Los Angeles.
Ontario and Corona are not bad, they have some very nice areas.
The local mountains trap the air pollution (LA Basin) and their are many millions of people living in this area.
Like the Gospel reading of Sunday....work on purifying the inside and the outside will get vleaned unavoidably.
What is your worst sin currently? Eork on that like there is no tomorrow: and like there is an eternity away from God’s kingdom
Your birth certificate is wrong.
It says you were born in Corona, you weren’t.
Corona Naval Hospital isn’t in Corona, it’s in Norco...
Was that the case in 1956? When asked about my birth city, I use Corona because that is what was recorded on my birth certificate. I have been consistent about that on my Form 4473s for years.
L.A -to San Bernardino is
One Straight Junk Yard Sewer !
.
I’m not Surprised it Ranks #1 thru #4.
From today, actually. Last Sunday's Gospel was about the narrow and wide doors.
LA county is a wasteland, so bad about 25 years ago it infected OC as well. Foreign nationals, gangs, low life and leftist abound in the region nowadays. We came to the conclusion about 10 years ago it was not even salvageable, so we left it behind.☺
