President Donald Trump wants Cracker Barrel to admit its mistake and ditch its disastrous attempt to sterilize its once-beloved brand and logo.
The Americana culture and decor that defined Cracker Barrel for decades were put at risk recently when the company’s new woke CEO embraced a revamp that could cost the restaurant its customer base.
In his business rescue plan posted to Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump encouraged the country cooking company to “go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll), and manage the company better than ever before.”
What started as a slow rollout of whitewashed, shiplapped dining rooms decorated with rows of precisely spaced rolling pins eventually culminated in an entire revamp of the restaurant chain’s recognizable logo. The top-down decision to remove the iconic “Uncle Herschel” leaning on a barrel not only helped tank Cracker Barrel’s stock but also prompted a publicity crisis over the last week.
Trump claimed Cracker Barrel could use the “Billion Dollars worth of free publicity if they play their cards right,” but warned it would be “very tricky to do.”
“Have a major News Conference today,” he continued. “Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again. Remember, in just a short period of time I made the United States of America the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World. One year ago, it was ‘DEAD.’ Good luck!”
Trump’s advice comes just one day after the iconic country cooking restaurant shunned its customers in a lengthy non-apology, explaining the brand’s decision to stick with its bland signage. Cracker Barrel claimed “the values this company was built on” “will never change,”...

If Cracker Barrell wanted to survive it would not act this way
This man is incredible. He takes on Chicago and Venezuela at the same time, then manages Cracker Barrel in between meals.
I feel like everyone missed it when this happened to ALL other corporate chain restaurants, have you driven by a McDonalds lately?
They are all owned by these giant investment companies who want everything simple and modern with no character, partially so they can reuse the buildings easily. It’s awful and that’s why you should be mad, people only noticed with CB because it could be blamed on “woke”
Good advice from Trump
THEY ARE PLANNING ON SPENDING OVER $700 MILLION ON THE CHANGES.
MIGHT AS WELL FY OVER THE BURNING MAN IN THE BLACK ROCK DESERT IN A HELICOPTER & THROW $700 MILLION IN $10 BILLS OUT.
Another Brilliant Trump move....
Win/Win
Their current CEO caused this mess after having caused similar chaos at Jack in the Box. She is one of a handful of chaos-CEOs that hate and fear successful franchises and strive to destroy them.
We need a new word to describe such woke people, who need to be banned, and blacklisted from creative and productive businesses.
You’ve seen the Egg Yolk + Zebra seating?
“THEY ARE PLANNING ON SPENDING OVER $700 MILLION ON THE CHANGES.”
The answer is simple. Ditch the woke rebranding and invest $700 million in improving the quality of the food. Mrs Soul and I have noticed the decline in the quality of food and service over the past ten years. Companies who go down the cist cutting route may successfully increase earnings for a period of time but ultimately the customer realizes the change and stops coming as frequently.
They’ve taken the big stock hit. Now admit the failures and tell Wall Street earnings will be down for a year while the company spend to bring back the menu and food quality they remember. Customers will come back if the brand is true to its heritage.
Fox News
Cracker Barrel said Tuesday that after listening to its customers, it will scrap its new logo and keep the “Old Timer” in place.
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel,” the restaurant chain said in a statement to FOX Business. “We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain. At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family.”
“As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon,” the restaurant chain added.
Cracker Barrel found itself at odds with its fans after removing “Uncle Herschel” from its logo. The company unveiled its revamped text-only design, sparking backlash and sinking its stock price.
The original 1969 logo was also text-only, but the 1977 addition of the now-iconic imagery became a staple of its branding.
