Elon Musk backtracked on his promise to remake US politics with his 'America Party' and instead plans to use his immense wealth to help JD Vance become the next president.
The billionaire Tesla founder intends to shift his focus back to his companies after a tumultuous stint working with President Trump and has become wary of upsetting Republicans, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Musk has decided to join other tech titans and rally behind the person they believe is the likely successor to Trump: Vice President JD Vance, who has made moves recently suggesting he will run in 2028.
The former DOGE head spent nearly $300million helping to elect Trump in 2024, but the duo has a spectacular fallout earlier this year with Musk eventually writing on X that 'Trump is in the Epstein files.'
With Trump term-limited as president, Musk is considering putting his massive wealth behind Vance in 2028.
He would join other tech honchos who have doled out money to Vance such as Palantir CEO Peter Thiel, former PayPal COO David Sacks, Roku CEO Anthony Wood and entrepreneur Palmer Luckey.
Recent polls show Vance as a clear front runner for the 2028 Republican nomination.
Musk has been speaking to Vance in recent weeks, the Journal said, and believes launching the America Party for the 2026 midterms might jeopardize their relationship.

Vance is no Trump but then again nobody is. Without Trump on the ticket, 2028 will not be a sure thing. Also, Elon’s political judgement is not on par with his intellect. He was right about the need for a new political party in America but his timing was way off. Now he appears to be moving away from the idea.
We desperately need a new party. It is our only hope for peacefully securing America’s future.
It won’t be a third party. With Trump’s endorsement, it could easily replace the republican party very quickly.

Elon and Peter Thiel worked together and both ran PayPal. They both made their early billions together.
Elon went one route, Tesla and all his businesses, while Peter Thiel went on to develop Palantir Technologies.
Palantir is everything Edward Snowdon warned us about, and far more.

Peter Thiel owns JD Vance. JD went to work for Peter right out of college. Peter named and funded Vance’s business.
Peter paid for Vance’s Ohio Senate run.
Peter personally met with Trump and ask Trump to select Vance as his VP.

They are almost hopelessly stupid. And no matter how many votes a person like Trump gets at the ballot box, there are still too many of the willfully ignorant to break away and THINK with the minds that God gave them.
Trump was an outlier. He ran as a Republican but was really more of an independent. Thats why the leaderships of both parties hate him. He's violating their turf. He can get away with it because, well, he's Donald Trump.
The Trump phenomenon is a once in a rare moon alignment of the political stars. It might not happen again for generations to come. I hope it can. But a vigorous third party of its own as Musk intends? The odds are not in its favor, if for no other reason than too many Americans choose to be captives to the duopoly. And I wish to God that it could be otherwise.
The Elon melt down was always for show so the idiot democrats that were attacking Elon over his relationship with trump would back off and move on to their next virtue signaling outrage. bet you 10 cents there is still coordination between the two.
