As H-1B visa holders navigate mounting uncertainty under Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown, foreign tech workers now face a new threat: mass sabotage of the PERM process—crucial for securing U.S. green cards.
A post on Team Blind, an anonymous professional forum, warns that organized groups are targeting labor market tests required for PERM certification by flooding job postings with bogus applications.
The goal: derail visa applicants' chances by making it appear that qualified American workers are readily available.
“This has created a big crisis for Indian H-1Bs,” the original poster wrote, citing “massive unexpected spikes” in labor market test failures, leading to stalled green card processes and looming layoffs.
At the center of the storm is Jobs. Now—a job board turned digital crusader against H-1B hiring. Promoted heavily on X (formerly Twitter) under the handle @JobsNowPR, the site claims to expose “hidden job postings BIG COMPANIES DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE.” Its bio boasts: “We’ve got the H1Bs worried!” With followers skyrocketing from 5,000 to over 22,000 in a matter of weeks, the campaign is now being amplified by Republican influencers.
One pinned tweet reads: “We’re tired of seeing companies hire H1Bs for ordinary jobs that Americans could do.”
According to users on Blind and Reddit, companies are increasingly halting PERM filings, citing “high volumes of applicants”—a red flag for H-1B candidates. One user shared: “The HR didn’t take any other interview after the initial one and decided there are people to do my job.” Another reported being told their PERM process was paused due to excessive applications during recruitment.
The backlash is polarizing. Critics of the H-1B program argue this isn’t sabotage, just a long-overdue prioritization of American workers. “America is not an Indian jobs program,” one commenter wrote. Others raised concerns about fake resumes and applicants with no real intention of taking the jobs—just sabotaging the process.
This is an account on X (with a website) making it their mission to expose the "hidden" jobs that aren't advertised because they're being set aside for H-1B'ers.
They have to hide these jobs because, by law, H-1Bs are only allowed to be used to fill jobs that Americans are not applying for. So this website is exposing these jobs and encouraging American citizens to apply for them.
And boy howdy, are the Indians pissed!
A permanent labor certification issued by the Department of Labor (DOL) allows an employer to hire a foreign worker to work permanently in the United States.
Loads of High Tech Americans haven’t been able to find work.
Every opening has 100’s of applicants.
Glad I am retired.
Indians are needed in India to improve India.
Excellent news and article!
Sounds like employers and placement agencies conspired to illegally place H-1Bers into permanent positions, qualifying them for permanent residency. Sounds like a case for the DOJ. RICO? If so, every green card authorized under the Permanent Labor Certification program should be suspended pending evaluation/investigation.

That’s really upsetting. I am OUTRAGED. Some of my best friends are Comanche.
US Lost 4 Million Tech Jobs to India

President Trump blasted India with 50 percent tariffs. The full force of these tariffs will come into effect on August 27, 2025. President Trump’s instincts are spot on: India is on the verge of becoming China 2.0. Unfortunately, the tariffs will do little to stop this. Why?
Because India isn’t coming for our manufacturing. They’re coming for our technology sector—and they’ve been remarkably successful both at scooping up jobs, and flying under the radar. Consider that America lost roughly 5 million jobs to China since 2001. During the same period, America lost up to 4 million technology jobs to India. Not only that, but India now has access to sensitive American technology and information. This is America’s silent national emergency.
And some say Indians get American jobs b/c they work for less. So how do they afford luxury homes being built solely as exclusive Indian enclaves?
If we are serious about reshoring American industry, then tariffs on Indian products won’t cut it. We should also tariff Indian services. (Excerpt) Read more at realspmorrison.substack.com ...
Thanks, the X link (and the company behind it) is heartwarming. Americans First!!! MAGA!
>> We should also tariff Indian services.
Interesting concept; never knew service tariffs was “a thing”.
Yep. I've spent some time on this X account and some of the replies include YouTube videos from employment lawyers teaching companies how to skirt the laws so that they can hire Indians at the expense of American workers.
They're taking over so many American occupations, as we've seen this past weekend with their now massive control of the trucking industry (and the devastating consequences this has wrought).
Go.
Back.
To.
India.
The end.
And finally, American Anglophiles might be able to hold a non sing-songy conversation on a “call center”.

Interesting concept; never knew service tariffs was “a thing”.
Whatever it takes.
AI WILL STOP THIS-——
These grifters just will never give up the con.
Ever.
There are plenty of Americans to fill those jobs
The whole work visa is a scam.
They can’t find us workers cuz they look with eyes wide shut.
They lie
They scam
End the whole mess
Shut it down
That’s not sabotage, it’s good management.
Wealthy Dallas suburb rocked by claims enormous
new housing development is for one ethnicity only-—’INDIA FIRST!’

A Texas housing developer was forced to deny that a new community being built in the Dallas area will be exclusively for Indian-Americans. Sankalp Developer became infamous for the now-viral tweet that claimed they were building ‘a development by INDIANS for the right INDIANS.’ The tweet reads: ‘INDIA FIRST!’
The post does not specify where the supposed development would be located, however, Sanklap is based in Frisco - a wealthy suburb of Dallas.
In recent years, Frisco and neighboring communities like Plano, Prosper and Celina have been flooded by Southeast Asians, in what used to be majority white parts of the state.
In the boom town of Celina, Telugu (a language spoken on the subcontinent) has overtaken Spanish as the second most spoken language in its prized school district, according to local reports. However, the man in charge of Sankalp tells Daily Mail there is no truth to the post, which he learned about on Wednesday evening.
Poor tech companies are gonna have to pay Americans to do the work. The horror.
Works for me!
>> The whole work visa is a scam.
You can thank the Silicon Valley dickweeds for planting, watering, and establishing this scam. Just more Californicating of America.
