The shooting death of a 16-year-old in South Carolina led to the arrest of nine teenagers, including the victim’s alleged girlfriend.
According to Fox News, authorities said the victim was involved in an argument about a girl with his alleged shooter.
Trey Dean Wright of Johnsonville was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in June.

Additional details from Fox News:
Kistenmacher was charged with being an accessory before the fact for allegedly bringing Raper to the crime scene knowing he was both armed and likely to kill her boyfriend, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office did not immediately return a call seeking comment from Fox News Digital Wednesday. Prosecutors confirmed that nine teens had been charged but declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation.
“They were complicit in bringing the armed codefendant, Raper, to the incident location and knowing that there would be a confrontation,” Maj. Michael Nunn of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office told WBTW-TV, which is based in Florence. “They knew that Raper had presented a firearm to the victim and made threats to shoot him, according to the arrest warrants.”
He told the Post and Courier separately that, under state law, all five are charged as adults.
Prosecutors filed additional murder charges against three more Myrtle Beach-area teens, identified as 18-year-olds Hunter Kendall and Corrine Belviso and 17-year-old Sydney Kearns, according to WBTW.
The New York Post reported that a 10th teen is expected to surrender to authorities in connection with the shooting.
More from the New York Post:
Kistenmacher was released on bond to home confinement soon after her arrest.
Other suspects arrested and charged were 18-year-olds Hunter Kendall and Corrine Belviso, and 17-year-old Sydney Kearns, though what part they allegedly played in the murder remains unclear.
Four others were charged, but are minors and their names have not been released.
Florence County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Michael Nunn said the decision to charge so many teens in the killing was not taken lightly.
“The decision was made, again with investigators, in consultation with the solicitor’s office to charge each of them,” Nunn told News 13.
“The hand of one being the hand of all is part of South Carolina law as well, so that’s the basis of the charge for each of those individuals,” he added.
Late news this morning was that a 10th person is charged and will surrender.............
The sooner justice is served the better.
This was like a redo of the Michael Bargo-Seath Jackson case in Florida in 2011. Love triangle, bunch of teens conspire to murder victim. White trash situation.
Surprising to see White cannibals in South Carolina. Usually they are in the suburbs of Philadelphia. /spit
White punks on dope.
Is it now a crime to be a girlfriend?
No respect for life and severe lack of moral fibre.
You’ll see plenty of this on channels like ID and Oxygen. Way too many teens think the way to resolve romantic disputes is murder, including conspiring with their friends to commit murder. A manipulative girlfriend usually finds some dumb, amoral guy to kill her boyfriend, and a bunch of other idiot kids get caught up in it.
‘The hand of one is the hand of all;’ SC law explained
This will thrill all the true crime ghouls to have a new story to podcast about and listen to.
including the victim’s alleged girlfriend.
Is it now a crime to be a girlfriend?
It appears she knowingly brought him into a bad situation.
What they were taught in publik skools. No God anywhere. The Ten Commandments are evil.
Unfortunately.
Along with the teachings of Karl Marx.
Per the above, Raper is known to LE...
“...Raper was previously arrested in August 2024 on charges of accessory after the fact. He was released from jail in November, and the charges were dropped in February...”
Accessory after the fact to what??
