A man was arrested and charged with felony assault after throwing a Subway sandwich at a federal agent on the streets of Washington, D.C., earlier this week. Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed on Thursday that the man worked for the Department of Justice.

A video recorded by a bystander showed 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn confronting federal agents who were dispatched under President Donald Trump’s order to federalize the D.C. police department and address the capital’s violent crime. In the video, Dunn shouts at the federal agents, calling them “fascists” and yelling, “F*** you!”

Dunn began to walk away with his Subway sandwich, but then returned and asked bystanders which vehicles the federal agents were using. He then crossed the street and approached a group of federal agents. He continued to berate the federal law enforcement officers before winding up and throwing his sandwich at the chest of an agent. A foot chase ensued before the DOJ employee was arrested.

In a post on X Thursday morning, AG Bondi said that she “just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice.” Bondi added that Dunn was fired from the DOJ and charged with a felony.

“This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ,” Bondi added. “You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.”

The criminal complaint against Dunn says that he admitted to throwing the sandwich at the officer, the New York Post reported. U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said that the suspect thought his action “was funny.”

“Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony: assault on a...”

This was a setup for filming. If he didn’t know it was going to get him chased down and arrested, then why did he turn and run even before the agent reacted and jog right down the street where he would get caught?

Another slow day BS news lead.

Considering how dry and hard Subway bread is, this is assault with a deadly weapon.

He is confused. In the past that was a checked-box for a promotion. Frozen water bottles, molotov cocktails, and feces, are all resume enhancers in the echo-virtue chamber of the left.

The sandwich just shows potential.

Perhaps he knew he would be arrested and he thought he could outrun those donut eating fascists.

No one needs to work in the government especially in State or Justice who is that unstable and frankly, childish.

He let his undercover TDS out and now he’s under charges, unemployed and hungry.

But but…he had feels about Bad Orange Man.

In January 2017 hundreds of rioters who broke windows, burned cars, and assaulted people had all charges dismissed because of their feels.

Why should this poor #resistance leader expect anything different?

If there was a Darwin Award for getting fired from your cushy federal job, this would be a good example!

Rightly fired by DOJ. But, it’s the FOJ. The top legal/law enforcement agency in the country. He works there and attacks law enforcement!? WTH. Is this guy a lawyer (if so, needs to be disbarred), if he is done sort of staffer almost as bad. This illustrates the level of (lack of) commitment to the very essence of the govt departments mission where the work.
