Zelensky Says Ukraine Won’t Recognize Results of Upcoming Russia-US Summit
TASS ^ | 8/12/25

"It is impossible to talk about Ukraine without Ukraine," Vladimir Zelensky said

OSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. Ukraine will not recognize the decision taken at the Russia-US summit in Alaska without its participation, Vladimir Zelensky said.

"It is impossible to talk about Ukraine without Ukraine, and no one will recognize that. That’s why this conversation may be important for their [Russia-US] bilateral track, but they cannot decide anything on Ukraine without us. I hope the US president understands that and takes into account," the head of the Kiev regime said at a forum.

On August 8, Trump announced that he was looking forward to meeting with Putin in Alaska on August 15. The plans for these talks were then confirmed by Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov. According to him, the leaders will focus on discussing options for achieving a long-term peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. The Kremlin expects the next meeting between Putin and Trump to take place on Russian territory, Ushakov added.

Maybe if there were a legitimately elected head of state to represent Ukraine. ….

“Ukraine will not recognize the decision taken at the Russia-US summit in Alaska without its participation...”

Doesn’t matter. Pooty-Poot won’t agree to, or keep any treaty agreement, as he wants to reconstitute the Soviet Union, and wants ALL of Ukraine.

Honestly, I am not a little z fan. He has been a demanding person with, in my opinion, profiteering from the war. That being all said, he is correct. Ultimately, Ukraine has a right to decide it’s own fate. To make decisions, you have to have options. Trump is trying to provide options that don’t include destruction and depopulation.

I say let Vlad the Invader and Trump talk. We will see were it leads.

Yes. It’s rich when an unelected dictator says he will not recognize any agreement between legitimate governments. I remain convinced that Zelensky would lose an election so badly in Ukraine that he will do anything to prevent one from happening ever to remove him.

He might win the votes of 100% of Democrats here in the US, but that won’t help him. LOL.

And one more time.

South Korea never signed the armistice that has defined the border and DMZ for 70 yrs. They did not sign because they didn’t agree the border was determined by line of combat.

And for 70 years now we have seen that it did not matter what S. Korea thought about the matter. The same can be so of Zelensky.

Ukraine gave up its right to determine its own fate when it became a vassal state of the U.S. and a tool for globalist warmongers in the U.S. government. THE END.

I was thinking about that yesterday. Ukrainians want the war to stop. They don't care about what the Russians occupy. They just want peace.

The Parliament just extended Martial Law for 3 months...but I think they can undue that and that's where I think we're headed next.

"Z" would NOT win any election. The problem is....Ukraine has no leaders except maybe Poroschenko......If some brave soul with leadership qualitites raises their hand...they're either put in jail or commit suicide or are banned from the country.

The reality is Ukraine is only weeks to a couple of months away from being totally defeated militarily. We can’t provide them with sufficient arms at this point to make a difference. The only chance they have is if NATO immediately joins in and that just isn’t going to happen. NATO without the US being onboard is just a joke. Trump is correct in ending this war now.

Any peace deal will mean Zelenskyy will have to face reelection in which case he will lose. Then investigations will begin regarding his own war crimes.

The current “summer offensive” is seeing accelerated advances by Russian forces in several sectors. It is hard to get Putin to put down the sword when it is working for him.

Trump and Zelensky came up with their initial peace plan without even consulting with Putin.

Probably the only way to get peace at this point.
