To: Tell It Right

They knew about the holocaust.

Witold Pilecki told them.

They had no means to save the death camp inmates.

Israel has and is trying to minimize this

His channel is a goldmine of good information in english.

Yes, it is. I met him in person, several years ago. I got my picture taken with him.

I agree with everything you say.

2.) “The he said she said” makes for people screaming or crying into a camera. That sells well. Besides, on issues where you have emotions vs. reason, emotions win most of the time, there is much written about this, it’s an important thing to know, but very few people actually consider it and that allows their own judgement and decision making to be hijacked by “feelings.” https://duckduckgo.com/?t=lm&q=why+emotions+win+over+reason&ia=web

1.) The news we have is “free” for you and I, but what people need to remember is that those paying for the news control the news. Almost all the “free” news media is in reality corporate news and closely aligned with one of the two parties, owned by one of the 6 major media conglomerates, or by an oligarch outright (Washington Post: Bezos, Buffet has his hands in the media, as does Gates, Musk, Zuckerberg, etc.) The news and social media (where most people get their news from today) are going to inherently promote that political party and candidate from whom they stand to benefit the most, that simple.

Is Zuckerberg going to promote Trump (2020) when the the FTC and FCC were looking at breaking up Meta because it’s a monopoly in Trumps first term? Is it a sheer coincidence that when Biden was elected and Zuckerberg is a HUGE Democrat, the issue sort of fell away, but as soon as Trump is elected 2024 it’s back in the spotlight? This is how things really work!

https://www.thedailyupside.com/technology/big-tech/the-ftc-says-meta-is-a-monopoly-but-in-which-markets-exactly/

Our political system also runs on money. Money pays for the party, campaigns, PACS. It pays for legal litigation, lobbying or buying the politicians and their family. That is a consequence of a democracy and ALWAYS has been a weakness of such a system. Those with the money, have a disproportionate say may that be in ancient Greece, Rome, or today Germany, France, the UK or US: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/perspectives-on-politics/article/abs/testing-theories-of-american-politics-elites-interest-groups-and-average-citizens/62327F513959D0A304D4893B382B992B?utm_campaign=shareaholic&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=bookmark I’m not saying democracy is a bad thing, but like everything else in life, it has its pros and cons.

The poor and some in the middle class seem to think the Democrats are their party, but it’s actually the Democrats which is the party for the rich. They simply are the best organized in using identity politics: race, sex, sexual orientation, to their advantage. May it be Obama or Biden, when they are in office, the massive subsidies, mandates (electric vehicles, vaccines, new refrigerants, start coming like mad), government spending on environmentalism (just a cash cow) explodes. Most your super rich in America today, had a government hand in their ascent. The billionaires of today are not created mostly by the private sector, but the public sector. Canceling the pipeline makes sure Buffet makes more, government spending on electric cars and rockets made Musk, Google is an NSA creation, Amazon (Jeff Bezos) rose the way it did by having the tax payer subsidize the costs for logistics originally, even Trump (he’s simply one of the few honest ones) admits he used the tax code to his advantage in his rise to wealth and power...

What that really means, is that the news media is overwhelmingly Democrat, ~85%. Their owners are pro-Democrat, most the journalists vote Democrat and sympathize with liberal ideas, most of Hollywood is Democrat and sympathizes with liberal ideas, the channels of communication are overwhelmingly Democrat as are things like search engines, social media entertainment sites, email providers, etc. People simply have no clue how extensive this bias is and how it impacts them: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/republican-committee-sues-google-over-email-spam-filters/ It’s called plausible deniability - but of course Google was doing it intentionally, but now they will be a little more careful / subtle and not so extreme about it. The way it was, 10% of Democrat material was filtered, but 77% Republican which went straight into the spam folder and that was unacceptable before the elections so thankfully someone raised the issue. Sometimes the problem gets fixed even if no one is found guilty.

Unless the reader / viewer is keenly aware of the bias and extremely critical about what he receives from this media, he will be led in one direction.

Nothing will change because the reader / viewer wants his “free” media and that really means he’s OK with how things are.
