New York City Democrat mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani is leading former Gov. Andrew Cuomo by 13 points in Newsmax's average tracking the race.
Mamdani has 38.1% support, followed by Cuomo, who is running an independent campaign after losing the Democrat primary, with 25%.
In third place is Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa with 15%, followed by incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, who is also running as an independent, with 11.5%. Another independent, Jim Walden, a former assistant U.S. attorney, is in last with just 1%.

Cuomo, Sliwa and Adams have to get together and decide which two should step aside.
Don’t forget that NYC uses Ranked Choice Voting for its elections when no candidate gets to 50%. While I’d like to see NYC get what it deserves and set an example for the rest of country about what kind of idiot NOT to elect, it’s not inconceivable that the muzzie nutjob could still lose.
The “second choice” votes for Sliwa and Adams are more likely to go to Cuomo.

That being said, Eric Addams needs to fold his tent and go home. He had several years to make his case and improve his community. Too much malfunction has been permitted to continue. It’s time to try another person. Sliwa, good natured and sincere, but somewhat inexperienced to jump in running.
That leaves the despicable A.M. Cuomo, who at very least understands the abilities and limitations of that office.
NYC is going to get what they deserve, good and hard.

I am NOT okay with this. We keep shrugging and letting Muslim nutjobs slowly take over positions in our government. We are allowing the normalization of factions on this planet to run our lives. This is flat out stupid.

The big investment banks need to start pulling out of NYC. They should have done that long ago, but it’s corporate malfeasance not to go now.
