Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said the public "deserves to know" whether CBS’s decision to cancel "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Thursday was politically motivated.
"Just finished taping with Stephen Colbert who announced his show was cancelled. If Paramount and CBS ended the Late Show for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better," Schiff wrote.

Doesn’t matter, it’s none of their business...................
Of course Schiff and Warren both have their panties in a twist about it, anytime anything impinges on the ability of Democrats to engage a compliant and collaborative Media, Entertainment, or Education to get their messaging out, it is a potential loss for them.
How fitting, LOL. Schiff appears on the show and then they announce the show is cancelled do to TDS and poor ratings.
Yeah, all they do is push leftist politics so the audiences are gone
They ever have a problem with coal miners losing their jobs?
Demand?
Oh adam, don’t try to take the spotlight off of you. POS.
Between this and the commie Public Radio stations taking a cut, it’s another day of winning.
I'm not tired of it.
Exactly. They didn’t care when Puppet Biden ended the Keystone Pipeline project, resulting in 11,000 lost jobs.
When was the last time you saw a conservative on ANY late night show? These two clowns are PO’ed because a free venue for campaigning is being shut down. Kimmel’s even worse. I think the GOP has every right to demand equal time under FCC guidelines.
I can hardly believe Schiff would lie so blatantly on his mortgage application. I am no politician, but I would never do that. Laticia James, also!
If Colbert had the audience ratings, he would stay on the air. People don’t watch. Bye bye.
Who feels sorry for a multi-millionaire TV host?
I thought CBS was a private entity and so their editorial decisions within the bounds of regulation, slander and other applicable laws are no one's business. Programming is entirely a "business" matter, unless of course CBS is just an extension of the Democratic Party in which case there should be no nonprofit or other tax exemptions for the Democrats who are mrely an extension of a for profit business [does CBS even make a profit?]
And low viewership. Plus he was/is a more-on as well.
Well, when that host is a radical leftist who constantly pushes your pro leftist messages and drips with TDS and hatred, the leftists are upset that they are losing another political media outlet.
The RATS are not good for anything except causing trouble and wasting time and our money. Mentally and morally bankrupt.
They have inadvertently admitted Colbert was a Democrat shill. That is a good reason to fire him if CBS wishes to entertain and expand their audience.
“Doesn’t matter, it’s none of their business..”
True, but they just want to stop the illegal payouts to the networks and studios.
