Won’t be ordering any burritos today
In before the first tacky post of the Orc saying meat’s back on the menu.
You might say he got behind in his work!!
Sounds like he got caught in LA freeway traffic.
No big Mak’s today either
It has to be a horrible way to die.
Reminds me of Saddam Hussein tossing people into shredders.
Just how big is this meat grinder?
“No big Mak’s today either”
Frozen patties processed weeks earlier.
Prayers for his family.
I have a 19 year old son. He’s an honorable kid who works hard and is a blessing to my husband and me.
Unlike so many lazy, shiftless losers, this young man was working to earn his way. I am sorry for his family’s loss.
Who else was there when it happened?

Vernon is a pretty remarkable place, er, town. I am not sure there are any houses there, it’s all meat packing plants, battery recyclers, metal finishing, lightish manufacturing...mostly from the 30’s, 40’s. It’s kind of spooky actually.
I believe they have a walk-thru periodic table of the elements there.
It’s always the sanitation wash down crews that get ground up. It’s easier to clean the machine with it running (a big no-no), but they do it anyway. At a place I worked the guy slipped and fell into the mixer. There was no guy after they realized he was missing. Just a leather belt, two shoes, and a paste on the floor below the dump gate opening. Even the bones were more like cornmeal. Oh yes....the hair remains in tact. The clothing was all tangled in the mixing ribbons with no sign that it had been on a person. More like a wet pile of greasy-pasty rags.
My sympathies to the young man’s family, but my first guess is proper cleaning procedures were not followed. That, or he never received necessary training in the first place.
Straps were missing or poorly secured.
Probably some of the same procedures used by pro Tree Cutters.
Well it said that he was part of the sanitation crew, which I would guess means he cleans up the equipment.
So it would him and the person who turned the grinder on.
When he said his job was a grind, he was dead serious.
