Shooter's motives still unclear despite extensive investigation into the attack that nearly changed American history..
As the one-year mark nears since the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, questions remain unanswered; notably, why did Thomas Matthew Crooks carry out the attack, and how did he get so close?
Despite the year's passage, the mystery endures surrounding the 20-year-old Pennsylvania native’s motivation. Fox News Digital spoke with two former federal officials about the lingering questions.
Former FBI agent John Nantz said Crooks did not fit the profile of a politically motivated extremist.
"Crooks looked not so much like an ideologue, not so much like an individual who was being directed in some way to conduct an assassination attempt, but more like a person with anti-social issues that may have been seeking notoriety,"

The breakdown on July 13 led to bipartisan calls for then-USSS Director Kimberly Cheatle to resign. After her resignation, Ronald Rowe Jr., who was serving as the deputy director, was appointed as the acting director.
He held the position until Jan. 22, when Sean Curran, a veteran agent who had been part of Trump's protective detail during the assassination attempt, was appointed as the 28th director of the USSS.

Why did they cremate his body and release it before anyone else could examine him? That whole thing stinks.
Who is Maxwell Yearick?
I still want to know what happened to the white van with explosives found in it. It had Arizona tags. It was seen being hauled off by police not far from the Butler rally site later that night. We still don’t know anything about the alleged accomplice Maxwell Yearick who was the one they showed a close-up of his dead face on the rooftop.
(Why did they cremate his body and release it before anyone else could examine him?)
They did the same thing with Justice Scalia before an autopsy could be done.

There’s no information I’ve come across of that says who identified him at the morgue.
No one on earth knows who this guy was or what he was about. The FBI is pretty certain he was hatched from an egg and his whole life spanned 20 days, oh! And of course he was a lone wolf who acted in a vacuum.

Crooks, the details of his attempt, his family, even security operations that day are all vague and mysterious to the public, and most of what the majority of us are curious about should be just normal reporting.
Ron Rowe must be held accountable for yelling at a Congressman. That put me into an indescribable rage.
