A 17-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday, accused of fatally shooting her mother and stepfather while they slept in their Carrollton home. TikTok videos posted by the teen after the murders appeared to be heartfelt pleas for support ... The TikTok post may seem innocent and even draw sympathy. But the dark reality is that it was created just over a week after 16-year-old Sarah Grace Patrick allegedly shot her mother and stepfather to death as they slept.
Sarah spent months crying about the deaths on TikTok, garnering sympathy.
Yes, she posted about how hard it was to lose her parents as she brought her sister to their church, Catalyst Church in Carollton, GA.
(Did I mention her 5-year-old sister found the bodies?)
Just over a month ago, Sarah sang about her mom on TikTok as she celebrated her high school graduation.
Sarah also spoke at her mom's funeral.
AT THE FUNERAL. WHILE QUOTING SCRIPTURE. (Deuteronomy 6:5 no less!!)
Neither the authorities nor the defense has released any details as to what Sarah's motive here might have been, but they are still looking for anyone else who may have been an accomplice in the case.
One more wild twist: A "true crime" podcaster says Sarah reached out to her in June to cover the murders:
If she actually did this ... was all of it for clicks?? Regardless, she now faces a double murder charge and will have her day in court.
Patrick is facing two counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault. She is being charged as an adult.

A long time ago I was a teacher at a ‘youth center’—read juvenile prison. One of the lads, along with his twin, murdered his stepfather and left his stepmother for dead. Because of his age he was sentenced as a juvenile, not for murder, but ‘delinquency’. Thus he and his twin each got a third of his stepfather’s life insurance policy deposited into his youth center canteen account. I’ve been told that such a thing is impossible, but I saw the check.
Unless you are convicted of murder the state will approve you getting the funds.
The company does not care, they have to pay in any case and the state sure does not care.

Anyone who watches crime TV knows that teenage white girls kill (or more accurately, manipulate their boyfriends into killing) their parents much more than people think.
