Zohran Mamdani has an odd new Guardian Angel. GOP mayoral nominee Curtis Sliwa defended his Democratic socialist foe Zohran Mamdani over his Columbia college admissions scandal — warning the relentless attacks by other rivals will backfire.
“Why are we making this an issue?” fumed the Guardian Angels founder in an exclusive interview with The Post. “They are piling on, and now he is a martyr.”

But Sliwa, a political firebrand not typically known for measured responses, warned moderates from focusing too much on such small-potato issues. “Yes, he shouldn’t have put down that he was African American, but it’s splitting hairs,” Sliwa said. “You’ve got to hit him on the issues.”

Adams has a much better chance than Sliwa. And look at Sliwa’s background, he has a lot of wackadoo in his past.

Adams is the current mayor, so he definitely has the better chance. Cuomo would be better than Mamdani, but he’s be pretty bad.
Mamdani lied in order to gain a college "black" slot at the expensive of blacks.
NYC is 22.7% black.
Sliwa is wrong. Concentrate on the issues AND concentrate on how Mamdami cheated blacks.

Well he may have more middle eastern black heritage than Elizabeth warren has American Indian.
Her theft of an education from a real Indian doesn't seem to faze racist democrat voters.
I think he’s right about one thing. The candidates themselves shouldn’t make an it an issue, others outside the campaign can.
