Argentina's economy is growing faster than current Chinese rates

In news that surprised even the most optimistic observers, Argentina surpassed China in terms of year-on-year economic growth during the first quarter of 2025.

While the Asian giant reported an expansion of 5.4%, Argentina achieved a remarkable 5.8% year-on-year, marking a strong recovery after the deep crisis inherited from the Kirchnerist government of Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner.

According to official data from INDEC, Argentina's economy expanded in the first three months of the year at a pace that not only surpasses most countries in the region, but also puts the country in the global spotlight. This growth represents the highest quarterly record in recent years and is a direct result of the successful economic plan implemented by President Javier Milei.

The libertarian administration inherited a country on the brink of hyperinflation, with a devastated economy, a Central Bank with negative reserves, and a fiscal deficit that seemed impossible to eliminate.

However, in just a few months, Milei's government managed to stabilize the macroeconomy, halt monetary issuance, correct prices, and advance deep structural reforms.

Chinese economic growth rates are very likely manipulated.

In the past, there were years were every single province reported higher economic growth than the national average - which is an obvious sign of fake statistics

And Argentina is just coming out of 15 years of socialist, corrupt Peronist rule. There’s a lot of pent-up demand.

Argentina's growth and economy might be easy to verify, but China's growth and economy cannot. We can only accept their figures at face value. we can't trust and we can't verify anything coming out of China.

Amazing what free market capitalism with less government and less taxes can do. But majority of countries keep trying socialism because is sounds good on paper.

Javier and his team have done an amazing job down there. I hope he is reelected in 27 and is able to continue his reformations for some time. He is a powerful ally for a resurgent Republic of the United States of America.

The only thing you can trust China for is certain deception.

All this without the corporate globalists bestowing factory for the world status on them as they have done for China.

How long will it take for those on the left down there to try forcing Milei out of office!

Today, the world looks at Argentina with renewed interest. Far from the populist recipes that condemned the country to stagnation, Milei’s administration is generating growth with economic freedom, fiscal responsibility, and respect for market rules.

I would propose that most of the world wanted him to fail..................

Thank you for pointing that out.

Argentina deserves far more investment then the CCP. If we have to offshore, why not a majority European country in Latin America that has gone against the typical Latin corruptocrat socialist rule?

Milei and Argentina should be rewarded with massive investment.
