The cars and small trucks at the site were those of concrete workers trying to cover up the top of the shafts. Nothing was taken out of facility. Would take too long, too dangerous, and very heavy and hard to move!

Be patient...
Makes sense. Given the Israelis air superiority, any radioactive material brought to the surface and loaded would have been obliterated in place...
Radioactive material is not something you can bomb away. You can collect it and put in into a nuclear reactor where a neutron flux can change it into something less hazardous. Even that has problems because it can also change isotopes into something more dangerous.
Was that the question Jennifer Griffin asked before Pete Hegseth ripped her a new pie hole?
Uranium is an alpha emitter. Alpha particles can be stopped by a few sheets of paper. Unless you’re standing on top of it or ingest it somehow you’re pretty safe from the stuff.

My understanding is that the uranium at Fordo is in gaseous form for the centrifuges? Doesn’t seem like something you could just put in a crate and load on a truck.
I was disappointed when eBay stopped allowed old Radium dial watches to be sold. Should have grabbed one.
I’m sure we can fly drones over the site with radiation detection.
Not for nothing...We do not need to know everything. I think we should start classifying more “stuff” and tell Congress they are not in charge of our Military....in any way, shape or form. Also tell them that the President requests a declaration of war...that it is not requested by Congress.
It must be gaseous to run thru the cent. But, before that it will be stored off to the side in some other chemical state. So, U will be in several chemical/physical forms scattered throughout a facility. What sucks is that several of those forms are deadly poisonous. REcovery will be like walking on the moon in a space suit.
As to trucking it off, easy peasey, if you know what you are doing. But, the precautions you will have to take to protect it will make it painfully clear to any embedded spy as to where it is going.
Why is Trump trying so hard to sell this bombing as a complete success?
The Iranians know whether it was or not, so who is he trying to convince...the folks at Disney and Comcast?
“Why is Trump trying so hard to sell this bombing as a complete success?”
Maybe it is because so many liberals are trying to say it wasn’t?
CAN WE SEND HER TO ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ???
“Radioactive material is not something you can bomb away. You can collect it and put in into a nuclear reactor where a neutron flux can change it into something less hazardous. Even that has problems because it can also change isotopes into something more dangerous.”
Uranium is only weakly radioactive. I used to keep a cube of it on my desk back in the day to demonstrate to undergrads. For use in centrifuges it is combined with fluorine to make a gaseous state.
Well, yeah, but 60% enriched uranium would need some measures to avoid criticality accidents, I think.
Wise advice.
Thank you.
“Why is Trump trying so hard to sell this bombing as a complete success?”
Have you missed all the fake news claiming it was a failure?
Trump is just answering peoples questions. The Military involved in the mission deserve all the praise we can give them. He's not selling...you're just anti-Trump.
