A Tube passenger who killed a 'gentle' commuter with one punch after he brushed past him on an escalator will serve less than six years in jail.
Rakeem Miles, 23, grabbed AI engineer Samuel Winter, 28, from behind and ripped his top at Southwark underground station at 9.30pm on August 22 last year.
Miles then viciously knocked out Mr Winter with a powerful punch to the head before fleeing.
Paramedics attended and performed CPR on Mr Winter at the tube station.
He was rushed to hospital with a critical brain injury and died two days later with his family by his side.
British Transport Police officers traced Miles through the use of his Oyster card and arrested him at a shop near the station the next morning.
Miles, of Southwark, was convicted of manslaughter at Inner London Crown Court after pleading guilty to the charge. He was cleared of a charge of murder.
Judge Benedict Kelleher sentenced Miles to eight years imprisonment with an extended licence period of five years.

But why was Rakeem charged in the first place? Sounds like the Engineer was culturally insensitive.

The weak and unprepared who have been raised to live non-violently among civilized people are in a terrible fix in this world. They need to replace the worthless governments that fail to protect them. In the meantime, toughen up, travel in groups, and avoid scum with the tarantula hairdos.
But of course. The UK political class despise “uppity” working class Brits. Foreign invaders are the mercenary army they use to keep them in line. Native Brits, maybe it’s time for a revolution.

Just another example of open season on white people.
There is no diversity in my neck of the woods and for that I am grateful. That poor kid was probably raised since birth to suppress his natural instincts and not be “racist” by avoiding certain people and to certainly never relax and turn your back on them.
Why did I think his name was going to be something like Rakeem?
There’s something about that breed. So many don’t value human life at all. They need to do something or they’re going to fill the gates of hell.
Anyone posting on social media that Rakeem did not get a long enough sentence will be prosecuted for hate speech and
sentenced to fifteen years..
If it was the white that killed a black he’d never see the light of day again.
Mr. Winter’s family should raise funds for a deranged inmate at the prison where Hakeem will make his final days.
Rakeem is triggered by whiteness.
Can he help it if Mr Samuel is naturally racist?
For some cultures, all disagreements are important enough to be settled by deadly violence.
They basically get offered crutches to succeed in life (quota’s for hiring and promotions as well as college admission, scholarships only for their group which is outright racist...) and they still F it up.
It’s a loser culture.
There are consequences in believing certain philosophical ideas, embracing certain values and behaving accordingly.
