One of the best tours I ever had was CVN 70, Carl Vinson.
At the end our group guide asked for questions.
‘Can you show me the reactor room?’
Sure but you won’t live to tell about it!

Hey there, radu!
Still under the heat dome over there? I think it barely got up to 90 here today. Our weather has done a complete flip-flop!

Hiya luvie, we're into our typical summer weather, sunny and warm. We get very little rain in the high desert here but the mountain snow melt off keeps things moist around here, just hoping we don't get too many wildfires this summer.
I hope all is well your way!

Sunny and WARM sounds great. Sunny and cremated...not so much. LOL! Fingers crossed that there are no wildfires. They’re too scary and so distructive.

Howdy, luvie.
Yep, still roasting and will through the weekend. It was hot and sunny when I woke up but clouds moved in mid-afternoon and a BIG rain shower blew up just east of me. It wasn’t moving so I took a chance and hopped on Champ. I kept my eyes on it the whole time but it sat in place the whole time I owed along the driveway. A nice cool outflow breeze made it pretty comfortable. It would be nice to have the same luck the next two days so I could get the yard around this house done. Not holding my breath on that.
Enjoy your break from the intense heat. I’d say your kitties are. :-)

I’m sure you’ll be so glad to see that miserable heat move out. Great that you got some clouds and a breeze, so you and Champ could get some of that grass mowed. I hope the breeze continues, so you can do the rest of it, and can enjoy it for a while.
The kitties seem very happy not to be so hot. It’ll end soon, I’m sure, so we all want to enjoy the moderate temps while we can.
