"In fact, we actually believe they stored more of it in Fordo because they believe Fordo was impenetrable," the senator said.
...
Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) revealed on Monday that U.S. intelligence contradicts claims that Iran moved nuclear materials before President Trump’s weekend airstrikes, which the senator believes “severely damaged, if not completely destroyed” Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities.
Satellite imagery taken prior to the attack, circulating across social media over the weekend, revealed trucks surrounding Fordo allegedly poised to haul away all nuclear material, which the senator rejects.
“[Israel and Iran] are claiming that they moved some material,” Mullin said. “Our intelligence report says they didn’t. In fact, we actually believe they stored more of it in Fordo because they believe Fordo was impenetrable,” the Oklahoma Republican said in an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
The Fordo facility, located 300 feet underneath a mountain, was one of three Iranian nuclear sites targeted by American air strikes on Saturday, along with facilities at Natanz and Isfahan.
“We have the ability to destroy things that people think were undestroyable. And so we think we did a really good job,” Mullin said.
Spencer Faragasso, senior research fellow at the Institute for Science and International Security, echoed Mullin’s sentiment, telling The Washington Post that the satellite images taken prior to the attack appear to feature dump trucks intent on reinforcing Fordo, not evacuating it.
... “If they evacuated any equipment, it had to happen prior to the filling of the tunnels,” Faragasso said, pointing out that using dump trucks to transport uranium and centrifuges could easily damage them, and hazardous chemicals could leak. “It would be a large and complicated undertaking.”
Experts told the Post that the tunnel entrances where the trucks were spotted appear to have been filled with dirt post-attack, either as a result of reinforcing the tunnels in preparation for a strike or from the shock wave caused by the bombing.
Senator Mullin, who serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the strikes had “severely damaged, if not completely destroyed, their ability to have a nuclear weapon,” but suggested the possibility of continued military action if necessary. “If we find that we didn’t completely destroy Fordo’s nuclear production capabilities, we will be working with our allies to finish the job, or we will finish the job.”
“We have made it very clear, President Trump has made clear for 10 years, we will not allow Iran, the world’s sponsor of terror, to have a nuclear weapon any way whatsoever,” Mullin added.
President Trump declared the strikes had “totally destroyed” Iran’s major enrichment facilities and blasted mainstream media outlets that attempted to contradict this assessment. “It never ends with the sleazebags in the Media, and that’s why their Ratings are at an ALL TIME LOW — ZERO CREDIBILITY!” the president posted .

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Failed? Or were just too frightened to even try, given IDF airspace dominance and by-the-second satellite coverage.
I certainly hope this is true.
But the WMD which “didn’t get transferred out of Iraq” and which “were never found” have always left a bad taste in my mouth.
Let’s hope Israelis do inventory, lest that uranium turn up on a baggage carousel in Newark or Chicago.
(Yes I realize it’s under a heap of rubble, but they can probably determine indirectly by various means.)
US intel?
I feel so much better.
I think the point needs to be made Trump just did what all presidents back to Clinton in ‘92 had said, and they all said ‘we’re not going to let Iran have nuclear weapons. I mean Reagan and Bush 1 would have said the same thing especially being closer to 1979/hostages.
probably only a handful of people who know the whole story...Trump, Vance, Rubie, Pete and Caine
But the bunker-busting assault on Fordow looks different if we knew they had 400kg of 60% refined uranium on site. It seems we knew there was nothing there and it had been moved, which would contradict Mullin's claim. There are reportedly no increases in radiation at Fordow since the attack. We can only hope to God if it was moved weeks before that Israel knows where it is now.
How would they do inventory since it’s buried in a mountain?
probably why we struck after 2 days rather than 2 weeks...we probably detected activity.
There is not supposed to be an increase in surface radiation, as this was not a live reactor.
Ventilation shafts, aerial surveys.
Also space based assets do real time surveys of what’s coming out of those vents during the attack. Radioactive elements are unique and their decay products light up like giant flood lights on the sensors. Rocks don’t release radioactive particles at the speed of light.
Several days before the attack, a space telescope shows about 20 full size semi-trailers lined up at the entrance gate waiting to pull in.
Moving stuff in?
Moving stuff out?
Well if they want to pretend that we destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure that’s fine with me. Declare victory and bring our troops home.
Nuclear scientists said before the attack, that they don’t expect any significant radiation leak. They said it would all be buried.
Gomer Pyle has only one thing to say.....https://youtu.be/2TnkJ8_BmSI?si=agRrkgaJEUvlcZ_Q
U-235 is a mostly alpha emitter, until assembled into a critical mass.
Alpha particles don’t go very far. They’re helium nuclei, and strongly charged. They find free electrons very quickly and become innocuous helium atoms.
They’re not radioactive in themselves.
U-235 is a weak emitter of gamma rays. It has a half-life of almost a billion years, so it’s not strongly radioactive.
Of course, if a critical mass is assembled, that’s another story. But a “natural” critical mass (not boosted, no nearby neutron reflectors) is pretty big, and would be worth an incredible amount of money.
Daily wire prints a lot of fake news.
I remember the statement....Unless they tell us where they are, we will NEVER find them.
