I read the headline and thought; “Well, how nice of them!
Hey, wait a minute. Iran isn’t exactly well known for ‘being nice’ to anybody, let alone The Great Satan aka USA.
Trump has a way of stating outrageous things in such a casual way, you have to let it sink in before realizing he’s ‘having a laugh’. Not always, but many times, and unexpectedly too.

This just confirms it for me that the whole thing was an orchestrated charade. Trump placates Bibi with a performative attack on Iran’s (empty) nuke buildings and Iran gets to save face by bombing an evacuated US military base. Neither Iran or Trump want war, only Netanyahu does. But Netanyahu only wants war if the US will do the heavy lifting. So if he can’t persuade Trump he’s going to be stuck begging Iran for a ceasefire now.
