CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert used Tucker Carlson’s spat with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over the Israel-Iran conflict and the United States’ role in it to smear President Donald Trump as “Nazi-friendly,” during his Late Show monologue on Wednesday.
Stephen Colbert: ‘Trump Wasn’t Nazi Friendly Until 2017’ NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 17: Stephen Colbert speaks with Alex Edelman at 92NY on July 17,Noam Galai/Getty Images Jerome Hudson19 Jun 202513 1:42 CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert used Tucker Carlson’s spat with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over the Israel-Iran conflict and the United States’ role in it to smear President Donald Trump as “Nazi-friendly,” during his Late Show monologue on Wednesday.
“One outspoken anti-war MAGA mouthpiece is former famous person and thoughtful hemorrhoid, Tucker Carlson,” Colbert said. “In his newsletter, Carlson wrote, ‘Washington knew these attacks would happen. Politicians purporting to be America first can’t now credibly turn around and say they had nothing to do with it.'”
“Trump didn’t like that,” Colbert said before mimicking Trump, “arguing, ‘Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ’America first,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that.'”
“For the record, Trump did not come up with ‘America first.’ ‘America first’ was the motto of Nazi-friendly Americans in the 1930s,” Colbert said, while his audience booed. “Okay? All right? So that’s not fair. Yes. Trump wasn’t Nazi-friendly until 2017.”

Dumb Democrats totally dominate the MSM. They're absolutely everywhere: Major newspapers, all late-night TV talk show hosts, major "news" networks, all the leading magazines, streaming TV networks, Hollyweird, etc.
"It's good to own the MSM."

Amen.
Cruz, Colbert and Carlson are all the same.
Arguing about how many people are citizens of Iran and their ethnic composition.
None of that matters one way or another.
The only thing that matters is that the country is run by maniacs and they have almost got the bomb....and they have made many many public statements that they will use it to destroy the United States of America.
This is what makes Trump so unique. He sees the root of the problem and he goes after it with every means available to him.
I never thought Cruz was presidential material. No better than Trey Gowdy or Lacey Graham.

I've had the misfortune of watching Colbert's monologue. It's literally Orwell's Two Minutes Of Hate. "Hate! Hate! Hate! We're all so smart because we hate Trump!".

Stephen Colbert: ‘Trump Wasn’t Nazi Friendly Until 2017’
People like Colbert and Fallon and Kimmel and the 'ladies' of the View, don't realize that, every time they open their mouths to vilify Trump and other figures they disagree with, that they alienate a bunch more people in their own party, who then become former democrats.
In a way, those celebrities end up being the best recruiters for republicans.
There was a time when Fallon and Kimmel and even Colbert, were watchable, but they've lost huge amounts of their audiences because they have no idea about who their audiences are and what that audience used to expect in their shows. The idiotic political points of view is not what the people wanted.
