Crude oil prices have increased $16.50 so far in June. We do not know what will happen in the next few days regarding the uranium enrichment facilities in Iran. It could be a wild ride.

It is mostly a holiday only for government workers. Private sector companies with bills to pay must work today.

Oh, Jeez. Juneteenth. The day when the celebrants puff on some weed stuffed blunts, shoot their mac 10’s in the air, and end up back on the same street corner by day break.

As Frank Zappa put it so eloquently:

You know that five in every four
Just won’t amount to nothin’ more
But watch the rats go across the floor
And make up songs about being poor

We in Texas are grateful in giving the nation this holiday that ranks right up there with Festivus and Kwanzaa.

Reg unleaded in Western Lower Michigan has been at $3.39 for crude at 60-ish. Does that follow that it will be jumping to a new price point of $4.35 or so, for regular unleaded Summer blend?

Crude oil is up $16.50/barrel since June 1. Divide that by 42 and you get $.39 per gallon.

So expect gasoline prices to be about 40 cents per gallon higher today than the price was on June 1.

The market is really closing for this stupid “Juneteenth” nonsense?

Not in the Northern states. Prices have already been falling from the end of the Summer gas switch, so will be around 25 cents higher.

Crude oil prices will sink faster than a bunker-buster when B2 drops it payload and the Supreme Leader is incinerated.

I would agree if the bunker buster is dropped on Iran’s Supreme Leaders head.

However, if the bunker buster is dropped on uranium enrichment facilities, then do we have Chernobyl Two?

So, the war in Iran is screwing over Americans and increasing Russia's oil revenue.

Yet, Lindsey Graham wants us to get directly involved and put boots on the ground.

The company I work for just now made Martin Luther King a day off work. It feels weird. I mean I love another day off work but my grandchild was born on veterans Day and I used to tell him he’ll never have to go to school on his birthday yay but nope they took that away. I just realized there are only two people who get celebrated with a holiday, Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King. Hmm.

Landing a man on the moon and inventing velcro and Tang was a bother but we dont need a federal holiday for that.
