Don’t bother with a charge of “incompetence” when you know damned well it’s “malevolence.”

It’s the real estate racket hard at work.

Add in a heaping helping of stupid and you’ve got it.

"Governor" Noisome has too much of a brain trust behind what he does to call him "stupid." He's doing what's good for the gang, the four families that run California (a video to which I would have added the Feinstein/Blum combination to make it "five families;" they ran the biggest real estate operation in California: the Santa Fe- Southern Pacific Railroad real estate arm, Catellus Development).

Yea, but the thing is those families aren’t being run by the people who started them. Now it’s their idiot kids or grandkids thinking they know it all.

They have lawyers to tell them what to do.

Lawyers know the law. They don’t know business.

Max is Mad and I pray he gets a tremendous amount of attention with his truthfulness about the condition of California.

I must admit, I haven’t clicked the link.

But I’ve read some of these responses. Is he good now? Because he’s said some pretty effed up things about us before.

I don’t trust Republicans who used to be liberal. It’s the Connecticut “but Republicans” but on a different level.

I’m gonna need some time on this. Donald Trump is still friends with John Kerry.

‘ He’s talking sense so I don’t mind that at all.’

So celebrities who agree with me are ok to listen to?

If they don’t, celebrities should just shut up and entertain us?

This is a revelation!

Yeh...exactly. I don’t wanna hear nonsense from lefties and others no matter their occupation. If people make sense, I wanna hear what they have to say, and I’ll promote it. You must be bored...trying to pick a fight.

Yes-

Mel said it well.

IMHO, despite the MSM and social media framing things extremely positive for these protests (they support it because it’s against Trump ultimately), I believe it will backfire.

Instead of giving Trump 15 minutes of positive press coverage on the Army’s 250 birthday, they stole the microphone and camera with their “No Kings” protests where they of course pander to race, not unlike BLM.

The Democrats are burying themselves even deeper.

Lawyers know the law. They don’t know business.

That's a pretty broad brush when one includes contract lawyers, patent attorneys, or the guys who set up venture capital deals and IPOs.

Lawyers know how to game the system within which business operates. Lawyers set up the game with legislation, rules and regulations, case law, and "memoranda of understanding." What you call "business" is more aptly, "free enterprise," but we don't have that in California except at ground level. What we have is vertically integrated racketeering, with bureaucrat piglets at the teat at every level. Every business decision made in this State is with a lawyer sitting the shoulder where a conscience used to be. But to what end?

You might call Karen Bass burning up big parts of LA stupid. Yet she knows very well the bureaucracy will frustrate rebuilding, and depreciate property value. She talks all about cutting red tape, and then doesn't. Stupid, right? Those with the proper connections will buy those properties for a song to build "Sustainable Communities," tenements of the future at a fat profit. Evil maybe, but not stupid. She just follows directions. I'm betting people were gaming plans for that area before the fire. It would fit the pattern.

Having lived in Santa Cruz County for 35 years (ground zero for "stupid" liberals), I can tell you they are delusional, blind as bats when it comes to reality, they're occasionally diabolical, but not stupid. They do get what they want. We're about to get our crumbling road paved with FEMA money, which the County uses as a slush fund to cover their rotten construction and maintenance under the rubric of "disaster." The "fish police" in our area have done very well on a half billion in Federill dollars beating the timber industry into the ground at both ends of the market with both logging and housing specifications without having produced diddly in the way of more anadromous fish or making houses that much more survivable in fire. But their friends selling plastic deck boards have made out, until the flaws become apparent. But by then there'll be another hip substitute. Wash, rise, repeat.

Noisome is playing the same games. So it may look stupid, but that makes a nice cover for how dirty he really is. He was raised by wicked people who knew the game. Don't think for a second he didn't learn how to play. He just has others getting their hands dirty, needing only to rely upon mediots to sell the cover. California could have been Switzerland on steroids, but has ended up as a weird mix of Mad Max, the Matrix, and Blade Runner. He'll hang at the French Laundry clinking glasses with others who know how smart they are, while Rome burns. They don't care.
