War-weary Americans are worried their country is about to be dragged into another Middle East quagmire. Their concern is well founded. The United States military is already helping Israel shoot down Iranian missiles and moving more military assets into the region.
MAGA support for President Donald Trump has remained consistent and bulletproof so far. But war with Iran may prove a red line for the president’s most loyal cohort.
“I can tell you right now, our MAGA base does not want war,” MAGA influencer and founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk said Friday during a segment of his popular show. Kirk said he received a pile of messages from the MAGA faithful, and emphasized:
I can say concretely, here is where I stand and where the MAGA base stands. We do not want U.S. boots on the ground, we do not want American kinetic involvement. This is Israel’s war. This is Israel’s self-determination in play.
Kirk, who campaigned for President Donald Trump in 2024, reminded his audience that the U.S. has not walked away from a conflict with a full declaration of victory in a long time. “The Middle East has a tendency to draw you in. It is the land of sand and death, as president Trump would say,” he added.
Another major MAGA figure, perhaps considered second only to the president himself, a man who has rarely, if ever, disagreed with Trump’s actions and who worked for the president, has made clear that MAGA has not an inkling of desire to get involved in what he predicts is going to metastasize into a characteristically long and drawn-out Middle East slugfest. Steve Bannon said Friday on his War Room show:

No. All of “MAGA” does not have one opinion on when, why, with what the U.S. might, should not, should aid Israel with respect to Iran.

Iran has been a blight on the world stage since 1979. For the first time since, the mullahs are close to be extinguished - finish it.
And they make proclamations about imaginary scenarios. We are against something that isn’t happening nor will it happen! They all sound like Mike Pence.

Payback for hostages in 1979, Marines in Beirut in 1983, numerous attacks on troops recently, and making sure they don’t have nukes they stated they intend to bomb us with IS putting the USA first.

MAGA certainly does not want Israel to LOSE this war.
We’ll have to do what might need to be done to make sure Israel wins.

As of today, Trump speaks for MAGA, period. MAGA is a popular movement and Trump is its leader. These people trying to claim to speak for the "True MAGA" every time Trump does or says something they disagree with are frauds.
Since the first year of his first term, Trump has consistently said that Iran can’t have nuclear weapons, and that he would prevent them from acquiring them. Now suddenly we are getting people saying “This isn’t what I voted for”. If you voted for Trump, then yes you did. He tried to make a deal and Khamenei played him. Strung him along. Lied to him. Maybe Khamenei will get another chance to make a deal. But if he tries to play us again, I expect Trump to fulfill his promise.

Give (sell) Israel some MOABs and let them deploy them with their C-130s. I’ve heard on here that they don’t have the capacity to drop them, but they can use their C-130s to drop them. Now that they have control of the sky, I think this is the next step. No need for us to use our bombers to do it.
The Mullahs of Tehran set themselves as at War with Israel and the U.S. from their first government, and via one proxy or another, from Beirut in 1983, to the founding of Hezbollah, to propping up Assad in Syria, to funding Hamas and then the Houthi in Yemen, the Mullahs have been waging the war they declared in 1979. The U.S. diplomatic efforts regarding the Mullahs nuclear arms and missile programs have been to keep the war declared by the Mullahs from going nuclear. By the Mullah’s own statements, once they could achieve production of nuclear armed weapons, their proxies and terrorist allies would get some of them. Israel is not fighting for its own existence right now, it is fighting for us as well, as we are as much as Israel in the targeted plans of the Mullahs.
