I’ll admit I do think that Trump is engaging in a bit of politics here. If we ever have to fight a war it will be hard for them to call him a war monger like they did with baby Bush. Trump may even get more popular in wartime because people will know it’s a war we have to fight and he will minimize troop casualties. He won’t have them driving around and getting blown up by IEDs like baby Bush. Most of the casualties in Iraq were from road side bombs.
Great if he really can make that happen!
But I think making deals with Iran is no more than a way for them to stall / buy time as they continue to back Hezbollah, keep building long range missiles and drones, keep developing a nuke.
I just don’t see any deal as being fruitful UNLESS you hurt them and you make it clear more pain will come if they are noncompliant.
Some folks operate on the bottom rung of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Unless you speak their language which involves causing a lot of pain, they don’t get it.

Why stop? Ridiculous. Iran needs to have their terror capabilities crushed, as Syria was. Sick of this constant Trump crying for “peace.” That isn’t always the answer.
Israel isn't dragging anyone into anything. It would be insane to invade Iran, and there is no need for a single troop of any uniform. They are immensely vulnerable. All Trump has to do is stop tying Israel's hands. They bought MOABs. Let them use them. They have killed perhaps 70 Israelis. Let them take out the Mullahs.

Backpedaling on deportations & gim saying no to jobs being taken by “migrants” (when report after report from outlets from the left and right) shows Americans were run out of those jobs for cheap labor replacements, Trump saying yes to 280-500k Chinese students coming to the U.S., and getting the U.S. involved in any way in the war between Israel and Iran is a totally different scenario, so be ready if/when Republicans lose the House in 2026.
