Donald Trump warned Elon Musk on Saturday that he faces “very serious consequences” if he funds Democratic candidates following the pair’s epic public bust-up this week.
The warning, delivered in an interview with NBC News scheduled to broadcast on Sunday, follows days of feuding and threats after Musk called Republicans’ budget legislation an “abomination”.
Trump told interviewer Kristen Welker his relationship with the tech mogul was over and warned Musk against choosing to fund Democrats after spending close to $300m in support of Trump’s re-election last year.
“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News. “He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he added.
Trump was also asked whether he had any wish to repair his relationship with Musk. “No,” he said. Asked whether he thought their relationship was over, he said: “I would assume so, yeah,” and said he had no plans to speak with his erstwhile sidekick.
“I’m too busy doing other things,” Trump said, adding: “I have no intention of speaking to him.”

it all seems quite contrived
Trump lost it.
So embarrassing, it’s all riots and mean stupid tweet again.
They need to shut to hell up and let this go.
Both of them.
Personally I think it is all an act.
Got it Schumer stooge.
Musk woke up to find the head of a Tesla Optimus humanoid robot in his bed.
I wish they would stop this. Musk should have his meds checked, and Trump should be more diplomatic with someone on the edge.
Others have seemed to say that; but what is it in aid of?
RE: They need to shut to hell up and let this go.
Both of them.
Did Pee Wee Harman give up when the bratty kid next door stole his bike?
They both should just shut the hell up now.
How about when we built the Guadal canal?
No one voted for Musk. Sorry, I’m not the biggest fan of Trump, but Musk is the one who needs to realize he is not the President and any power he had was at the Executive’s request. Calling Trump a pedophile and saying “yes” to a comment that he should be impeached and replaced by Vance crossed a huge line.
President Trump's quite right to sever immediate and future ties with him as Musk has become untrustworthy and a political liability.
Musk has become petty, tawdry, and a miscreant using insider information about Trump he had gleaned from his work as a confidant of the President, and is now using that information against the president, assisting the MSM to create numerous tropes and spins on Trumps agenda..That's pretty dirty.
I do not believe that Musk will amount to much politically, no one will trust him on any side of politics. A betrayer.Who always knows better than anyone about whatever the issue might be from time to time ( grossly untrue, and somewhat megalomaniac.)
As to Musk and his companies? They can join the long line of businesses that submit bids to obtain federal contracts for their work and profit. Musk will receive no favors in that regard from either side of the political spectrum, once his usefulness to the left has expired.
We have had an “Et Tu Brute ?” moment in America, and Musk has hurt the country badly with that moment,in his whacko public ruminations about the President and the presidential agenda.
Musk can take his 20 pieces of silver and get lost back into the corporate oblivion from which he came.He will never be able to enslave MAGA, or the President, and that seems to have driven Musk quite around the bend.
yep
Trump is a somewhat polarizing figure in today’s politics, don’t you think? Elon is transitioning out of government service, so I suspect that this feud is a stage performance to separate Elon from the controversy so that his businesses don’t suffer as much. I could be wrong, of course.
Never forget.
Elon is a US citizen and can back/work for anyone he chooses.
