One of the biggest lies ever told in the history of the world is that the Democrat Party is the party of "love" and "compassion." In fact, one of the reasons I completed my conversion to the dark side (conservatism) all those years ago and never looked back was the realization that there was nothing "loving and compassionate," for example, about advocating for the "right" to terminate innocent, unborn life at any stage of pregnancy.
So, like many on our side of the aisle, whenever I hear such claims coming from Democrats and their allies in the press, I just shake my head. And then will promptly set out to set the record straight in hopes of keeping casual observers of the goings-on in this country from being fooled.
We are at that moment yet again, with emerging Democrat "leader" Jasmine Crockett being the latest example.

The woke Texas Congresswoman recently sat down for a chat on MSDNC where, among other things, she discussed her desire to "lead" the House Oversight Committee in the event Democrats retake control of the House.
While that was hilarious in and of itself, even more comical was what she proclaimed about Democrats allegedly being the political party that loves and cares for people:
But my issue is this: All of y’all voted for this so that it would hurt somebody else. The problem was you got upset when you found out that, ‘Oh, shoot, it can hurt me too?’ And honestly, it is like it’s ingrained in who Democrats are is that we actually care and we love and we want to take care of everybody, and that’s why we got this big tent party and we all over the place.

It was just too much for George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley, who, though he usually keeps his commentary centered around legal issues, stepped in and provided an inconvenient fact check about just how loving and caring Jasmine Crockett really is:
Rep. Crocket in June: "Honestly, it is like it’s ingrained in who Democrats are is that we actually care and we love" Rep. Crocket in March-May: "I think that you punch, I think you punch, I think you OK with punching." "all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down." "this dude [Sen. Cruz] has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? "Let me tell you that we know how to use a chair, whether we’re pulling it up or we’re doing something else with it."

Let us also not forget her despicable "Gov. Hot Wheels" jab at Texas Gov. Greg Abbott back in March, something she later insultingly tried to claim was really about the "planes, trains, and automobiles" the wheelchair-bound Republican governor used to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities across the country:

As far as I'm concerned, if Jasmine Crockett wants to be the face of the Democrat Party going into 2026, more power to her. And if she does it with the Democrats' blessing, that's even better - and will make the GOP's job a whole lot easier with a whole lot more material to work with come the midterm elections.
Crockett routinely reminds folks of who Democrats really are on the issues and how they truly view the people when the masks come off - and we should believe her.

The Democrat party is the part of quid pro quo. They buy votes every election, if not literally , certainly politically. The game is always the same…. Criminals and minorites are the victims and the lefts job is to protect them…. Via entitlements. What the poor victims dont realize or want to realize is the same folks saving them or “caring” for them are the one who put them into the chaos in the first place whether opening the border, not prosecuting crime, allowing drugs to flow freely, or making the welfare system a lifestyle instead of a life line…. The liberals always cause the chaos but never get punished by their constituents…. Closest Ive seen is the most recent election of Trump where folks are sick of illegal aliens and some voted with their hearts instead of the preprogrammed media driven garbage.
