Authorities say the man climbed the structure earlier today and became stuck, prompting law enforcement and rescue teams to respond. A police standoff suggests the guy does not want to come down. If he’s willing to be rescued, then there is no story.
The person has to be a lunatic if his life is in danger and somehow or another creating a standoff with the cops over it. Like a cat in tree taking scratching swipes and the fireman trying to rescue it. I’d just leave him up there until he’s ready to come down, or gravity does its job.
As a side story, I used to climb water towers to paint them. It was kind of fun. Having been there done that, I suspect this clown is either stuck in the ladder cage, or on the walkway going around it.
We used to climb towers of high-tension lines. As we neared the top we could feel vibrations and immediately climbed down but it was fun while it lasted. ;-)
