Excellent. The Yurps and even Obama tried to intervene here. Obama had been hanging out in Poland trying to push the Leftie over the top. He failed.

BTW, this might doom the Yurps’ attempt to screw Hungary over for banning the sexual deviants’ parade.

“ As Poland’s new president, Nawrocki is likely to continue to use his presidential power of veto to block Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s pro-EU programme.”

Poland and Hungary are just about the only European nations left that are worthy of the respect of decent people worldwide.

It took about 40 years but the European Union finally succeeded in dragging Ireland down into their putrid swamp. And now the EU is trying to do the same to Poland and Hungary. My guess is that they’ll succeed...eventually.

Well, there was also intervention on the other side.

There was the conservative CPAC meeting in Rzeszów last week.

I disagree with Nawrocki making Poland more reliant on the USA. Poland should arm its own militia and be ready to be a larger Finland to keep out the Ruskis

We’ve noted Obama was pretty much only successful in electing himself. Not so much others. Him showing up in Poland might have been the kiss of death for the lefty.

Most likely, as in the US, the exit polls in Poland were undermined by selection bias by Leftist poll takers.

As Poland's new president, Nawrocki is likely to continue to use his presidential power of veto to block Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's pro-EU programme.

Good, the EU has done nothing positive for Europe from my viewpoint. I wonder if Jack Prosodics' visit had any impact in pulling Karol across the finish line.

It’s a sensational turnaround from the result of the first exit poll – published immediately after voting ended at 21:00 local time (19:00 GMT) on Sunday – that showed Trzaskowski winning on 50.3% to Nawrocki’s 49.7%.

About a 1 point change. 49.7 to 50.9. A major change for the country, but not a huge change in the vote.

Not unlike here where pretty much half of the population hates America and what she stands for.

Um, Hungary and Poland are members of the EU but defy the EU A-Holes often, especially Hungary when it comes to moslem migrants invaders.

Exit Polls mean a different thing in U.S.

In the U.S., if a race isn’t a landslide, the media waits until they get enough actual votes to validate the Exit Poll and “call” the election. (To be sure, there’s a bias to the left in “time to call.”)

Then, AFTER the votes are tabulated, the media uses the known result to re-weight the Exit Poll. So, if you look at the CNN website for how Hispanics, e.g., voted, that breakdown is informed by the actual vote in addition to the (”raw”) Exit Poll.

Elsewhere in the world, the Exit Poll (or multiple Exit Polls) are used directly to forecast the result. But, there’s sampling error and modelling error. Unless you have a huge sample AND are pretty sure of the turnout model, if the Exit Poll is close, you should wait for the count of the vote.

In the case of the just-conducted Polish election, the margin in the Exit Poll was very narrow, and there was a huge increase in turnout. The only proper conclusion is that the election was close and we had to wait for the count of the vote.
