If the judicial branch won’t adhere to the Constitution, then Trump must.
The leftist-backed effort to effectively nullify the results of the 2024 presidential election via a judicial coup is destroying the country’s constitutional order. But according to the White House, President Trump doesn’t have any actual plans to stop it.
During Thursday’s White House press briefing, Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway had the opportunity to ask Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about how the administration intends to rein in “rogue lower court judges” grinding the administration’s policies to a halt with overreaching injunctions and temporary restraining orders. After noting the Supreme Court and Congress’s apparent unwillingness to put a stop to it, Hemingway asked, “Is there an actual effort by this White House to tackle this issue in a comprehensive way, and if so, what is it?”
While Leavitt initially claimed there “is an effort by this administration to tackle these rogue judges and the injunctions and the blockades that we have faced in our broken judicial system,” she didn’t specify what the strategy is. The press secretary then proceeded to filibuster, listing a series of overreaching injunctions from lower court judges blocking different policies enacted by the administration.
Leavitt’s evasive answer prompted Hemingway to once again pressure the press secretary about how the White House intended to fight back against activist judges’ efforts to sabotage the will of the more than 77 million Americans who voted for Trump last year.
“You’re saying you’re responding to each and every one of these actions, efforts by these judges to delay or thwart the implementation of the agenda. But is there going to be anything more than that, or is it just going to let this operation continue even though it could delay everything for years until the presidency is over?” Hemingway...

4 years to plan and they didn’t see this coming? How about ignoring them as they have no constitutional authority? Pathetic. How about investigating them? Somebody is paying them. DoJ is in on it as usual.
By acknowledging them, he’s given them credence.
Should have totally ignored em right from the very start...
Let em take their crybaby BS to the SCOTUS themselves.
On the lighter brighter side, corrupt 'judges' are taking some of the spotlight off the sellouts in the corrupt biased liars in the press - and how they covered for dementia Joe.
If she new the answer to that question and if she answered it she would/should be fired. Come on folks, it's like asking Nimitz what his strategy was for winning the war in the Pacific on the eve of the Battle of Midway which the enemy didn't even know was going to be a major showdown.
The solution is for Congress to limit the jurisdiction of the federal courts to do this. One solution is to end the jurisdiction of one judge to issue nationwide injunctions or orders to declare a law or executive action illegal. Another is to require appellate review at SCOTUS by ending review in the Circuit Courts of Appeals. She should be asking Speaker “Little” Johnson these questions.
I've been concerned about this, but I don't have a good answer other than to say that his trolling may be working against him pulling off what needs to be done. I suspect in large part because of it, Roberts won't back him and that's the bottom line. Hence, he has to pick battles Roberts must support instead of fighting all of them at once, thus opening a way to more aggressive action after a string of wins instead of painting himself into a corner.
The Judicial Branch is not superior to the Executive Branch and has no enforcement power to any decision that seeks to constrain the Executive.
The Executive Branch is not superior to the Judicial Branch and cannot overturn court decisions on a whim. Although the Executive does have significant powers of force, we trust that it will not be used inappropriately.
The Legislative Branch alone has real power to re-balance the co-equal branches. If a judge is bad, the Legislature can impeach and remove — although this is VERY difficult. If a president is bad, the Legislature can impeach and remove — although this is VERY difficult.
I think the “constitutional crisis” is precisely what the courts have been doing since January. And the solution is for Trump to explicitly say “screw the courts”. If anyone doesn’t like that, they can take it up with Congress.
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. If Trumps people go thru the appeals process and then to SCOTUS it gives ammo to his enemies if he ignores the judges…guess what, it gives ammo to his enemies. Give the man time, things will change for the better.
The Federalist is advocating defiance of the lower courts.
I agree.
Force the hand of the USSC and Congress.
Sounds good.
Until we get the next Biden in office and he or she runs wild and a closely held USSC becomes meaningless. Or when the Dem party again attempts numerous times to impeach an R president, ignoring USSC holdings could well entice RINO's and vulnerable R's.
But its been 4 months already /s

Good points!
But didn’t the democrats including Hillary Clinton complain in 2024 that this term Trump can do anything he wants with immunity?
I’m thinking with the Venezuela and tariff rulings, we might get a good ruling on the ability of district courts to rule the whole country. If the Supreme sides with the district courts, Trump will have every right to disregard all the courts and move forward. I hope he is just trying to give them enough rope to hang themselves.
Agreed. Hard to believe there was no plan to deal with the judiciary going in. Everything President Trump has done is to go on the offensive against the deep state criminals.
Unlike El Salvador’s president he didn’t clean up the judiciary first. Perhaps he’s opening the Overton Window first out of necessity.
Time will tell.
LOL!
It’s a trap; The plan is to goad President Trump into defying the courts. Then it’s Impeachment City.
Absolutely.
Doesn't matter that he will have done nothing impeachable. The process is the punishment. They are just trying to delay everything by 3.5 years with lawfare.
The Federalist is getting as kooky as the NYT.
He seems to be ignoring them.
Where’s the “Maryland Man”?
