All of This Uncertainty Is Causing a Tremendous Amount of Chaos for Businesses of All Sizes
discern report ^ | BY MICHAEL SNYDER

How are businesses supposed to plan for the future if they have no idea what the rules of the game are going to be? Businesses thrive in a predictable environment, but we have entered a period of time of extreme uncertainty. One day we are facing high tariffs, the next day one court strikes them all down, and then the next day another court temporarily reverses that decision. How is anyone supposed to make solid business decisions in such an environment?

Our economy has been heading in the wrong direction for a long time, and we need to take bold action to fix things. But if legal battles are going to be constantly upending the rules of the game, there is no way that we are going to be able to pull out of our economic death spiral.

Powell is a democrat.

Had Kamala won he would have lowered interest rates by now.

Trump is playing the herky jerky game in hopes of getting lower rates.

We have not seen a stable business environment or normal market environment for at least two decades.

No, this environment is impossible for normal, orderly, successful business. It is chaos.

Small businesses trying to plan inventory is stressful during these uncertain times. Then there is AI wreaking havoc on white collar staffing needs. Read today that there could be 20% unemployment in the office sector within 1-3 years with AI automation.

What uncertainty??

If anyone wants a 5 year plan, move to a communist state. Else, do your best and enjoy the ride.

Why should there even be a “Fed?” We were fine before and look what happened since. The 1913 dollar is now worth less than five cents. You shall know them by their works.

The job posting websites are absolutely insane. Nobody is getting a job despite all the jobs posted. This crap is going to hit the fan early fall and Trump’s going to have to explain his way out of this one. It’s a complete and total fiasco. Right now. All the recruiters are saying it’s even worse than immediate post covid

The democrats killed businesses during covid and with their bungling of the economy.
Now they try to blame it on Trump? LOL!
They must be up all night long in their expensive “think tanks” trying to figure out how to manipulate the truth in order to blame Trump….
Or Musk….
Or the heinous MAGA people….
Or Jews….
Or Christians…..
Or cows…..etc.

Agree.

A truly healthy free market economy shouldn’t have nor need knobs to twiddle.

That’s why the USSR failed: they thought the entire economy could be run from a room full of knobs.

RE: Powell is a democrat.

A filthy pile of wet garbage.

He is out to undermine the US economy to hurt Trump and the GOP in time for the midterms.

I loathe him.

Life is uncertainty for small business. Wall Street is like the grownup with helicopter parents who never had to take a real risk.

And yet many businesses are thriving and expanding. Microsoft, Nvidia, Apple, Google, etc. have done great over the past two decades.

Find suppliers outside of CHINA.
If you can’t do that at least encourage domestic to supply you.

Businesses change massive numbers of item prices everyday.

Now, some businesses change item prices based on what time of day it is, and how an item is selling currently.

How can the average person handle all of this tremendous uncertainty and the chaos it is causing?

See what I did there?
