President Donald Trump signed four bills on Friday to roll back Biden-era regulations on appliances like water heaters, refrigerators, walk-in coolers, and household appliances.
The first bill Trump signed, H.J.R. 20, rolled back regulations on consumer gas-powered water heaters, White House staff secretary Will Scharf noted.
Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL) introduced the legislation, which was also backed by Rep. Brian Jack (R-GA). Jack noted that the new law “saves a factory” in his district.

We should start a contest like one of those superbowl pools to guess which district court will overrule Trump’s executive branch powers this time.

Will this stop NYS? I don’t think so.

Congress passed something that Trump actually wanted? Shocked, pleasantly surprised

FINALLY! The President is signing legislation, not just issuing EOs.

First I heard of it. The article is pretty sloppy. I seem to remember there’s a no filibuster statute that allows for repeal laws within a certain period of time of the new administration coming in. The article fails to discuss that

That's what I want. I have some 25 year old gas cans that I would like to either replace entirely or at least the nozzles. Can't get good cans, especially because my new car has an internal seal that the new cans can't reach and usable replacement nozzles are illegal in Ohio.
So what do I use on my car to force the internal seal open? A funnel. Yep, the fancy no leak, self-venting hard to open nozzle needs an open to the air funnel to work. It would be safer and less polluting to just use an old nozzle.

One question. How often do you need gas cans to fill your car? I’m still at 0 times over many years. Your post reads like you do it often. The capability to do so, is no doubt important of course.

It is good but it is just temporary.
If we cannot abolish Richard Nixon’s EPA then all that’s happening is a worthless back and forth in the large picture.
The next president or even congress will just implement the regulations again.

I keep some spare gas that I rotate through every month or two. Also, Kroger has an up to $1 off per gallon card, so I can get pretty close to their max 35 gallons once per month but I need cans to hit that.
The spare gas is also nice when gas jumps 50¢ at every station when a hurricane hits the Gulf or when Sheikh Abdul Abdul catches a cold. It takes some work to deal with the cans, but I am merely cheap, not lazy. :)

Just buy the little pump that goes in the can. No more spills. Look it up. they work great.

Trump also signed an executive order Friday to roll back rules that limit water use on household appliances like showerheads and faucets. This is wonderful and will save water in the long run because people won't have to stand under a stupid low flow shower for ten minutes to get the shampoo out of their hair.
That said, the real issue is dishwashers When will upgrade and sane dishwashers hit the market? Signing regulations is one thing... being able to buy sane products is another. Maybe GE can step forward and tell us 'when' as in 'when can we buy one'...

This time, though, it’s laws passed by congress, not an executive order.
