Hey there, radu!
Did you manage to get to town and back without getting soaked or blown about?
It was wonderfully cool here. Never even got up to 70 today. It was sooo nice!
Howdy, luvie.
Did it stay comfy all day? Looks like the clouds only recently moved out but you have more coming down your way.
Sunny and warm here and I managed to get my errands done AND mow the front yard. Cut the mowing close because the western sky was ugly-dark the whole time. But I’d checked the radar and knew the storms were still a ways off and moving slow, so figured I’d do what I could.
LOL! Answered your questions before you asked. Started my post, got sidetracked for a bit, and just finished and posted it.
LOL! That’s the same thing I did last night. Wrote part of it, went to check on something “real quick” and then got lost on the tabs and remembered after over an hour that I hadn’t punched post. I’m glad I’m not the only one. :D
Glad you had a chance to get that mowing all done...well, the front yard anyhow. I’ll bet it looks like green velvet it’s so thick. Did the storms finally arrive?
We all have our moments. LOL
I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get the whole front yard finished but got lucky. Even had time to ride out back to the shop to blow the grass off of Champ and myself and get back to the house.
Don’t know about green velvet but it looks a LOT better. Makes the shaggy back yard look like crap though. LOL Maybe I can knock it out Saturday.
I got some rain but a severe storm rolled past just south of here, flashing and rumbling like crazy. Glad THAT missed me.
As I continued to recover from the colonoscopy event yesterday I took this picture of Gizmo. This is how he looks when he wants me to rub his tummy. Yes, some dogs do demand this kind of treatment from their dur parents and I'm only too glad to provide it to him.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Eeee....I’m glad all that mean stuff missed you, too. You don’t need that for sure. Unless there would be some awesome lightning involved.
Right now it’s about 60. Next Tuesday it’s predicted to be 97.😵💫 I like this waaaay better. I can’t believe how fast things change. I’m hoping maybe they’ll lower that before it happens. Ugh.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
LOL! Gizmo’s pose is very familiar. My kitties do it too. They know if they look adorable, we can’t resist givin’ ‘em a tummy rub. They’re smart. :-)
I’m glad it missed too. It looked ugly and had a lot of lightning. Nashville news showed a few video clips from people who had been in other storms across the state today. Wild stuff.
I got a whoppin’ .05 of an inch of rain here. LOL
We have the same temp tonight. It does feel nice outside.
Thankfully, we don’t have your 90s next week to deal with.
When I went out a little while ago to empty the rain gauge, I saw a pleasant sight - - lightning bugs are waking up already!
Oh, wow! They are pretty early this year, aren’t they. I love lightning bugs. Wish we had them. Last time I saw one was when I was in Maine. I think that was in May also.
Something around here has caused my allergies to kick in. I’m going through a lot of kleenex. I guess I’m going to have to take something or I won’t get a wink of sleep tonight. And I’d better do it soon while I finish up this show I’m watching. See ya tomorrow for some tunes!
Yes, it does seem they’re a bit early. It startled me a little when I saw flickers. I thought something was wrong with my eyes. LOL
Dang, we should have both bought stock in Kleenex. :-) I’ve been going through them like crazy, too, but I know the source of my sinus issues.
Good luck getting some sleep tonight. With luck, whatever is firing up your sinuses will tone down by tomorrow.
