The University of Washington reported pro-Palestinian protesters caused more than $1 million in damage to the university’s Interdisciplinary Engineering Building during a violent demonstration Monday night.
The self-described pro-Palestinian protesters barricaded themselves inside the nearly brand new Interdisciplinary Engineering Building on campus Monday evening. The building, which just opened with a "soft launch" to students in March, was funded in part with $50 million from the Washington state legislature.
Yet, the University of Washington was reluctant to discuss any of it on Tuesday. The UW Police referred questions to University spokesperson Victor Balta, who told KOMO News no interviews would be granted and requested questions in writing.

U of W is going to try to stay silent on the the damage, and I would be surprised if any of the people they finally arrested, actually go to trial and are charged with anything serious.
Make Hamass pay.
Mostly Peaceful More Than $1 Million Dollars Destruction Protests
Aka “Anti Jew Riots”.

Gee Whiz, that's Too Bad ...
Don’t count your damages while you are sitting at the table. There will be time enough for counting after the rioting is done.
I am not being hyperbolic when I say that their goal is to foment a civil war.
Don’t take the bait. We are winning, and they are flailing about in last gasp desperation.
The only thing that could go wrong now is giving them a George Floyd-type “Palestinian” martyr.
Not surprising as UW is so full of anti-Americans it is intolerable.
So I went to Seatle Pacific U.
Class of 90. Retired at age 55 in Hawaii.
Martyrdom is highly overrated.
Arrests, quick trials, convictions, and lengthy sentences are appropriate. None of these rioters should be out on bail.
If any of them are students, they should be expelled. Any foreigners should face immediate visa cancellation and deportation.
Hit them as hard as possible. Then go after the organizers.
No more protests on campus. Use the police to stop them with whatever level of force escalation is needed. If some of the "mostly peaceful protesters" get hurt or even killed, do not apologize and do not settle in the following lawsuits.
These events continue because the local authorities allow them to continue. They will stop when the authorities make them stop.
Maybe they need new local authorities.
You’re talking about a very liberal leftist demoncRAT city in King County that still has a statue of Lenin in the middle of the city. I’m not surprised that it’s pro-Hamas and anti-Israel. Here’s hoping that the big earthquake drops Seattle into the Pacific Ocean along with the anti-military city of Olympia.
Good. They won’t need any U.S. taxpayer dollars anymore. They don’t have a building or equipment where they can do all that good “research” they claim to be doing.
My Alma Mater. I’m so proud...
So, pro-muslim terrorists vs pro-Marxist communists.
DNC’s Hamas wing has bank accounts. Go get ‘em.
Rat filth commies destroying a rat filth commie building? What’s the problem?
\/
they never let a crises go to waste.
now with USAID money dried up, destroy property, get tax payer repair funds, skim, grift and embezzle.
its the alinsky clowardpiven way.
Get back to me when they actually prosecute these savages instead of dropping charges like they usually do...
