Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Head, Elon Musk, made a massive revelation while speaking to Lara Trump on her Fox News program, My View. During the segment, Musk explained how over 100,000 federal workers were taking unemployment while still collecting paychecks from the government.
For context, DOGE was established during one of Trump’s first executive orders and charged with fighting fraud, waste, and graft in the federal government. Since the department started work, it has had a number of bombshell reports that have electrified conservatives.
Such was shown when Elon Musk appeared on Fox alongside Lara Trump on May 2, 2025. He explained, “We’ve actually found this a lot of people who are federal government employees, they’re active employees, who nonetheless applied for and have received unemployment insurance while they’re federal employees. Yes, wow, and this appears to be at least 100,000 people.”
Reacting to the news, conservatives took to social media to express their disgust. Steve Ferguson, who operates a large pro-Trump account on X, said, “DOGE and Elon have found 100,000 federal workers collecting unemployment insurance while still working. When are the arrests starting?” Responding to his post, another conservative influencer said, “This is fraud! Arrests have to happen!”
Upset by the alleged fraud, one commenter noticed this behavior was typical among entitled government employees. His reply noted, “Govt workers are rapidly earning a reputation more despised than members of Congress, corp media, used car salesmen or lawyers. When they do get fired, will any company be willing to suffer the risk of hiring them?”
Many users were angered by the graft, such as one who said, “I wonder how this possible. The workers should have to give retributions and be fired for being untrustworthy, possibly jail too. But we need to fix the system so this can’t continue.” Chiming in, another said, “Totally agree — this is fraud, plain and simple. If there’s no accountability, it sends the message that corruption is just business as usual. Arrests need to happen, and soon.”
Adding personal insight, one respondent explained how this type of corruption is unheard of in the private sector. They explained, “omg.. I had deleted the necessary documentation of when my employment actually ended.. who knew the big company would lie about it. had to pay back a months worth.. they better have to pay every cent back as well.”

Rounding out the comments, many conservatives called for the alleged fraudsters to face harsh sentences. One such comment said, “There definitely should have been a few follow up questions. I want to know if they were all in the same department. What years was this? I’m beginning to think I should get into the private prison business and open a few new ones.” Building on this point, another user said, “We ought to run out of prisons… round them up, get all ill gotten money/assets and ship them to some of the territories or Greenland when we purchase it. Remote Alaska would work too.”

Thank you very much and God bless you.
I prefer Trump's measured approach because it avoids collapsing the government while it's remodeled. When Arrests start, the Deep State's 'reaction' starts, and it would be good to have depleted more funding before the deepest struggles begin. It's not that I think Musk's sentiments are wrong, but that Trump excels in this arena of careful maintenance of society to avoid the civil unrest the Deep State needs to do what it does best.
And virtually all of them are Democrats.
Arrests imminent. As is a black robed foreign born judge blocking any real action.
But thanks for posting Red.
Sounds like Alcatraz will not be big enough. How about a few prisons in the Antarctic!
Can we buy Devil’s Island from the French?
We talk of all the fraud that is being uncovered and no one is mentioning names. There is a name behind every dollar stolen from the taxpayer. Someone received that money. The funds went in someone’s bank account. If arrests do not happen then there is little need for DOGE to continue.
Another great find by Elon. Hope justice is done.
Meanwhile the largest investigation in the histoir of America was to round up J-6 protesters.
Is there ANY financial accountability in the government anymore??
Apparently never has been....................
Now you know why Trump wants Greenland!....................
With something as easy to verify as unemployment, it seems fraud is the name of the game in DC.
DemoRats buy their voters with taxpayer dollars. It’s what they do and needs to be stopped.
Small fry.
The real crooks are in high office.
The executive branch, congress, and the courts are full of them.
The military too, but hey, look what SecDef is doing today. Hopefully getting a start at purging all of Milley’s grandchildren.
If proven true, there should be at least significant fines. Given the state of the Democrat-infested judiciary these days, it is assured that enforcement and punishment will be hit or miss. Sad to think....
Finding it is one thing. Actually, doing something about it so it never happens again is another thing.
my takeaway is what were the inspectors general doing?
this wholesale fraud went on right under their noses
were they aware of it?
then add them to the indictments
There never was accountability, at least not at the higher bigger dollar levels. Example: I was the Resource Advisor (Money guy) in my Squadron (AF). One of our credit cards was turned off by the AF because we had mistakenly paid federal income tax on a purchase from Walmart, to the tune of $2 dollars. The card was turned back on after two weeks (the time it took me to get Walmart to credit the $2 back). It infuriates me every time I read about billions unaccounted for...
I have a good idea as to what to do with a newly renovated Alcatraz prison..........the idea just came to me out of nowhere.
