All the more impressive because it was done without CGI. I think they had to hire almost the entire Spanish Air Force for the Messerschmitts.

Merkel was smarter than Hitler. She invaded Britain with “Asians”.

Have disagree with the author abput the films. Take aeay the incredible firsy 32 minutes and Private Ryan does not match up with A Walk in the Dun and The Story of GI Joe. And I would add the contemporary to Pvt, Ryan. The Thin Red Line.

War movies for the most part have been like Westerns, exciting, full of action, but not that accurate. John Ford even had the advantage of having an elderly Wyatt Earp on the set to advise and still didn’t get his Westerns right. Tombstone was the first Western I ever saw that came close to the actual clothes, guns, holsters, dialect, etc. that was actually used in the Old West.

My late Dad, a bombardier on a B-24 in WWII and I watched a few war films together about the Pacific Theater he was in and he said “no, not quite right.”

The bought all the German type aircraft from the Spanish air force and hired civilian pilots to fly them.they spent a ton of money doing that but what a fantastic movie.

In Westminster Abbey, the place in England where kings and heroes are laid to rest, they have stain glass windows depicting the Battle of Britain.
