As Russia continues its warfare against Ukraine, one outspoken Republican senator is encouraging President Donald Trump to put Russian President Vladimir Putin in his place.
"Putin has reneged on every promise that he has made to President Trump. His latest proposal is, well, nothing. He wants to keep all the territory that he's taken," Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on the latest installment of "Fox News Sunday."
"He wants to prohibit Ukraine from joining NATO, and he wants America and Europe to stop helping Ukraine," he added. "I think that Putin thinks that America has taken the bullet train to Chumptown."

Thank you very much and God bless you.
He sounds like his allegiance is somewhere besides the US.
The GOP in the House and in the Senate are actively working against Trump and in support of the Globalist/Democrat faction.
Senator cornpone probably took 10 minutes to spit that phrase out.
The good Senator is 100% correct
The US needn’t be the enforcer in this. The Euros are right there with their own armies and nukes. Let them deal with Russia.
Turns out Kennedy is just another swamp poser after all.
Then he can kit up and go over there and show us how it’s done.
“The good Senator is 100% correct”
GFY globohomo neocon.
You really think Russia won’t nuke us if Europe nukes Russia?
I wonder what promises Putin made to Trump?
As for prohibiting Ukraine from joining NATO, well - duh. That's been Russia's position for the last 30 years.

Those republicans will pay the price in 2026 midterms.
Will not be surprised to see them lose both Houses to the dems.
He better get it through his thick skull that the base of the party is expecting action that will allow Trump to implement the mandate he was elected on.
That means working on reigning in rogue judges and Congress passing the spending cuts that Trump has proposed.
Unfortunately, the USA won’t be seen as innocent for Europe’s actions.
Let’s just be grateful that he isn’t the John Kennedy who got us through the Cuban Missile Crisis without a nuclear war.
(FD: my father was a civilian DOD electronics and radio guy on the Philly NB, was scheduled to be on a flight to Miami to be on a blockade vessel when the Russkies blinked and JFK made the backdoor deal to get their missiles out of Cuba and ours out of Turkey. It was the only time I saw my mother scared of what was happening to my father.)
So while we're busy turning them into "fish food," what do you think they will be busy doing with their tens of thousands of nuclear missiles, many of which can travel at Mach 20 and are stationed off the US coast in submarines and can reach any target in the US within minutes?
There must be bot software somewhere in FR that autoposts that facile response on every thread.
Good thing Ronald Reagan and not you was in charge and actually ended the Soviet Union. Despite the nuke threat you mention.
You’re probably right about that, but maybe not.
So I say we take our marbles and go home.
The Europeans and Russia both want this war. Let them drag it out as long as they want.
