On Sunday, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) did not rule out impeaching President Donald Trump if Democrats take control of Congress.
Host Dana Bash said, “Your colleague from Georgia, Senator Jon Ossoff told voters at a town hall that he strongly agrees that President Trump should be impeached. Do you agree with him? Would that be a priority if Democrats were to take back Congress?”

Trump is offending the sensibilities of liberals. Is that really an impeachable offense?
I guess I need specifics on the laws the President Trump is violating. Although I can certainly see that Schumer is still working "six ways to Sunday" to fight Trump every day.
That’s Schumer trying to become the darling of the democrats again. He’s not so popular lately, so he’s got to go back to what seemed to work for him. Trump is the most pressing issue for democrats and Schumer wants to be knokn as the biggest anti-Trumper around. AOC needs to out-Schumer Schumer ir order to primary him out.
What rule of law is Trump breaking, Chuckie?
There are people in the chorus who don’t know the words. They wait for someone to sing the word and then make a noise like they were also singing the words. That’s Schumer. He has to make a certain amount of noise because it’s expected. But rather than lead, he follows, all while trying to seem like a leader. The Democrats have no leader. The good thing about Schumer is he fills up an important space that might otherwise be occupied by someone dynamic, thoughtful and dangerous. Bravo!
Yet the left can’t point out what specific law Trump is supposed to have broken. Time for DOGE to look into Schumer. Senator D’Amato called Schumer a “putzhead” in the 90s, he was correct then, his is correct now.
I have a better idea. Impeach Schumer. How does a lawyer who never worked in law amass 25 million dollars?
People are tired of this BS, ESPECIALLY since they're finding out the last impeachments were BS as well.

They still won’t have the 2/3rds vote in the Senate to convict, although a few RINOs will vote against him, but they will gleefully do it anyway. And, when it fails, they will hold hearings to vote impeachment for a fourth time. President Trump needs to get the really important stuff done now and do it in such a way that it can’t be easily undone.
Name the laws and their statute numbers, Chuckie.
A president can be constitutionally impeached for literally anything. The House has complete discretion in the matter.
So if the GOP fumbles away the House in 2026, Trump will certainly be impeached. It’s a disgusting movie that we’ve all seen before. Twice, actually.
