SCOTUS’s Refusal To End Leftists’ Judicial Coup Is Damaging Its Credibility More Than The Media Ever Could
The Federalist ^ | April 25, 2025 | Shawn Fleetwood

Not a day seems to go by without some activist lower court judge issuing an overreaching injunction blocking part of President Trump’s agenda.

Throughout Wednesday and Thursday alone, judges across multiple venues handed down decrees barring numerous executive actions taken by the president since returning to office. From DEI to election policy, these cases are but a few of the more than 170 lawsuits Democrats and left-wing political actors have filed to sabotage Trump and the 77 million Americans who voted for him.

Despite this clear effort to destroy American democracy via a judicial coup, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) seems to have no interest in stopping it. The nation’s highest court has had ample opportunities to halt these lower court judges’ destructive antics but has repeatedly declined to do so.

The first notable instance of this cowardice came to fruition in early March. In a 5-4 decision, a majority on the court declined a request from the Trump administration to shut down a ruling from a Biden-appointed district court judge. The judge had ordered the State Department and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to disburse roughly $2 billion in foreign grants to nongovernmental groups.

Comprised of Chief Justice John Roberts, Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, and the court’s Democrat appointees, the majority offered no rationale for the decision, a move that left Associate Justice Samuel Alito “stunned.”

Writing for the dissent, Alito underscored the overreaching nature of the lower court’s order and chastised the majority for its unwillingness to shut down such abusive behavior. He wrote, “Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer...

Somebody needs to tell Roberts that the “constitutional crisis” and “threat to democracy” is coming from the courts.

John Roberts took a bribe of $10 million many years ago.
How many more bribes has he taken.

Jane Roberts, the wife of Chief Justice John Roberts, made more than $10 million in commissions over an eight-year stretch where she matched top lawyers with elite law firms—including some that had cases before the Supreme Court

Roberts earned the eight-figure total between 2007 and 2014 while working at the recruiting company Major, Lindsey & Africa

Trump administration is hamstrung and virtually disabled.

Trump 2.0 isn’t much of an improvement over Trump 1.0, which was also hamstrung.

If the demonrats win the house next year, and there’s a good chance they will, the impeachment will start, Trump’s legislative agenda will be dead, and Trump 2.0 will be effectively over.

” The nation’s highest court has had ample opportunities to halt these lower court judges’ destructive antics “

It’s worse then that.

When presented with an “emergency” petition that clearly wasn’t an emergency, Jonny and The Gang ran, not walked, to block the Federals at midnight.

Shoulda been turned away for lack of standing. Hadn’t even gone through the Appellate courts yet.

Mr. Roberts has basically destroyed the last vestige of credibility the entire Judiciary once had. Occasionally he throws us a bone, but it’s just a diversion.

I think their decision on this is scheduled for May 16th. I could be wrong, but I think that is what I heard.

“It’s unclear exactly what game the high court’s majority is playing.“

Oh. Well, let’s all sit down and put our heads together and see if we can rope it out.

It’s deepstate pressure nothing more and nothing less.

Roberts is not least bit concerned about the credibility being damaged. In fact, I think he is proud of all these hack judges crippling Trump/our agenda. 5 of the 9 SC Jusctices hate Trump. 2 of the other 4 view him with contempt.

Everyone has something to sell.

Roberts and his Chinch-Ranch harem are selling the reputation of the Court.

Hasn’t a Bill been presented in Congress recently to the heart some of this lawfare?

Yes, the Supreme Court is wrong but all of this could be settled by simple legislation. Why have the Republicans on the Hill not already passes such legislation?

The courts don’t support us, congress doesn’t support us. Even traitors imbedded in the executive branch. They’re sold out to satanic global powers.

Trmp could bring this to a head by just announcing he will only abide by Supreme Court rulings for the whole country and will respect district courts and appeals courts in their districts only. Force their hand and remember the example of Andrew Jackson: The court made a decision, now let them enforce it.

If the Senate does’t produce a legitimate reckoning for this judicial betrayal, Trump will have to declare a National Emergency and ignore the courts to get the illegals out of the country.

And all that will do is make it 2020 again.

Real change never comes easy, but the president has the public support to get this done.

Roberts is obviously unqualified to be Chief Justice, he lacks impartiality, like all left wing ideologues.

SCOTUS lost its credibility when it refused to hear cases dealing with voter fraud in the 2020 election. They had ended the voter fraud fiasco in 2000 when Gore tried to steal Florida through recounts in cherry-picked RAT counties, but they wouldn’t lift a finger for 2020 fraud.

In my book, Roberts and ACB have no credibility at all. The two leftists are just so gonzo they are irrelevant. The ony reliable justices are Thomas and Alito. Gorsuch can be brilliant and can be ditzy at times.
