The girl (Canada) is not talking about it. A third party (the Daily Mail) raised the issue.

It seems like a total rejection of their leftist governing philosophy.

How is that, since the UK is in the process of giving itself over to muslim domination?

You see to make the mistake of believing everyone in Canada thinks alike on these political issues, certainly not true, we have six different political parties all with distinct policy differences. So it is only some Canadians that need to take your advice, not all. And I stick with my assessment that these matters would have been better left to a gov’t to gov’t discussion after the election. I understand how Trump works, but I don’t believe it’s the best strategy, especially in international politics. A different approach is needed. Too late now, the damage is done. (off with my head)

King Charles does indeed officially hold the title of King of Canada and of other members of the Commonwealth as well. The world is well aware that even in the UK they have a Prime Minister, but Charles is still the king.

In June of 2023, I drove into Canada/Alberta at the Coutts Sweetgrass crossing and never mind the 3 hour hassle about a .500 Caliber S & W I had onboard even though my PALS paperwork had been approved months earlier. Finally we were cleared and off we went headed for Dawson City, 1,926.8 miles to the north pulling a 25,000 lb boat/trailer combo.

I CLEARLY remember that my biggest impression of Alberta was that the highway we were on was built like an Interstate Hwy in the lower 48 but, Wow, there was no traffic. An 18 wheeler you might see every 10-15 minutes and one lonely car every 5-10 minutes. This indicated to me VERY LITTLE economic activity. As we all know, I 35 or I 10, by comparison, is like a parking lot 24 hours per day 365 days a year!

Peter ODonnell: "You see to make the mistake of believing everyone in Canada thinks alike on these political issues, certainly not true, we have six different political parties all with distinct policy differences. "

All that is irrelevant, since every Canadian could be affected by the changes Pres. Trump demands:

  1. No more trade surpluses with the US, which means that balancing your financial books will become more difficult than ever before.

HMS Nabob & Puncher, Canada's WWII aircraft carriers:

  2. Double your defense spending (to 3% of GDP), which means your social welfare programs will be put under greater strain than ever before.
Does anybody still remember that in 1945, Canada had the world's third largest navy, having produced hundreds of destroyers, frigates, corvettes & auxiliary ships, Canadians even operated two aircraft carriers.
    That's what I'm talking about.
Since some Canadians can be expected to resist such demands as strongly as possible, Pres. Trump offers them an alternative -- become our 51st state!

Of course, no sane Republican wants another 15 million Canadian Leftist Democrat voters added to our rolls, that would doom us for a very long time.

But... the mere thought of it could be enough to swing more Canadians towards beefing up your military and understanding the necessity for more reciprocal trade relations.

Do you understand?

I'd rather they'd stay with King Jughead. At least that way they'll be eased in to their big beautiful shariah future.
