should be ready to take passengers by 2042
“should be ready to take passengers by 2042”
After billions upon billions of dollars being spent on the project.
What? The costs top a trillion dollars now?
Remind me:
How much has already been spent?
How much is estimated for completion?
And what was the estimate when approved by the legislators?
Would probably be more economically feasible to just run buses . The high speed rail will never be finished, but if it is ever finished, it will lose money.
There will never be such a thing
Anyway who would ride it and for what reason?
All the Californians who have productive lives are moving to Texas to ruin that state
The first mile of track is complete?
It’s all a money scam. You don’t start mmajor projects without doing the paperwork in advance. All of the lawsuits are by design to grift more money to Dems as payoffs.
No federal money. The Big Dig was another scam but got done.
Remember California’s earthquake proof freeways? One earthquake near Oakland proved that was a lie.
The only intelligent milestone is to kill the damn thing.
the 1st of many.
probably be 100 trillion spent before its completed.
“Anyway who would ride it and for what reason?”
The love affair Californians have with their cars would make this train defunct before it starts. They’re not giving up their cars.
Anyway who would ride it and for what reason?

to get to a different airport,,, to fly to texas to ruin that state next !!!
;-)
Fraud and boondoggle so massive that it is too big to fail.
"The journey is the reward." --Steve Jobs
The "journey" and the "reward" being $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Bloated progressive-woke American government is at “peak-looting” stage.
Momentous occasion, have they laid any rail yet?
Will those in homeless camps up and down the line be putting shopping carts and boulders on the tracks?
The first mile of track is complete?
