A Republican-led congressional committee sent a letter Monday to Attorney General Pam Bondi re-upping its referral of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for prosecution, accusing him of lying during testimony before the panel as it was investigating the pandemic.
The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., had referred its accusations regarding Cuomo to the Department of Justice last year under the Biden administration. The DOJ, then led by Merrick Garland, did not publicly respond to the committee’s referral.
In it, the committee accuses Cuomo of lying when he testified that he was not involved in the review or drafting of a New York state Department of Health report that rebutted criticisms of his administration’s handling of the crisis. It points to evidence that the committee alleges demonstrates that he reviewed, edited and drafted portions of the report that was supposed to be an independent analysis of his administration’s performance.

This is a waste of time……….which is what congress excells at
I can understand this, but if they prosecute every official who lied about covid related information, they’ll be tied up in court for decades at a cost of millions, if not billions. Not that I don’t think they should be held accountable.
Well, they’ve made us pay millions if not billions for lawfare against our side. I wouldn’t mind paying for some lawfare in the other direction. Maybe Bondi can make some money by offering them a big fine in lieu of jail time.

I’m afraid you are correct. They should be going after “she’s doing a great job” Whitmer in Michigan too. She forced nursing homes to take in covid cases and people died.
Samaritans purse set up a huge tent city in central park and trump sent in the medial boat to Manhattan, both remained empty while he piled victims of covid in already crowded hospitals purposely to drive up the number of deaths including infecting non infected nursing homes. They need to find a way to allow the families to sue this rotten pr## bastard personally because DOJ will do nothing
