This offers conclusive proof that temperatures a thousand years ago were higher than they are today. CO2 level in the atmosphere was lower than it is now proving that higher levels of CO2 do not cause catastrophic global warming.

There were farms in Greenland 1000 years ago. But not now. Wonder why?

I did not know 1000 years ago there were fossil fuels powering internal combustion engines. Learn something new everyday!

But the Medieval Warm Period is a myth ...

Agreed. Or sometimes the left insists that the Medieval Warm Period was in just the northern hemisphere.

Lack of CO2 caused global cooling in Greenland.

"there is a reason it is called GreenLand"

Eric the Red's clever real estate marketing. But it was warmer than today.

And, there were other Temperature Optimums.
The Roman era optimum (around Christ time) and the Mycenean Optimum (another thousand year before that). Basically every thousand years.
So, now we are in the Second millennium temperature optimum.

Somehow, all those optima corelate with big advancement of civilizations and very healthy populations.
While the temperature lows correlate with dark ages, starving and diseases.

We have had three times in recorded history when it was warmer then it is now, Minion Warm period (Bronze Age), Roman Warm period, (Iron Age), Medieval Warm period (Steel Age). There was also a warm up from the late 1400s to the 1700s which was the Age of Sail.

All of the warm periods were a time of building, learning and expansion. Because when it is warmer you have extra food and more space.

When it gets cold the barbarians come down from the north and take your stuff.
